The Harris Gunworks M-89 is a fully supportable, precision accuracy sniper rifle, guaranteed to perform sub-half minute of angle

(MOA), with match grade ammunition. All components of the rifle are designed for reliable combat use and have been proven in the field to stand up to extreme punishment. This rifle is guaranteed to have durability, which is unsurpassed by any other rifle of similar configuration. The rifle action is available in either stainless or chrome molly precision hardened steel, which may be finished in a dull (matte) black oxide finish. Positive claw cartridge feed is available, with the actions optional 98 Mauser style extractor. With this extractor, cartridges can be fed from the magazine and into the breech with the firearm oriented at any angle. A mechanical safety is included, and can be configured in three-position or two position styles, to meet the needs of the client. An over-sized bolt handle is also available as an option. The action is uniquely designed to allow field stripping for cleaning without the use of any hand tools, with disassembly and reassembly possible within minutes. The rifle is fitted with our match grade heavy, or medium weight stainless or chrome molly steel barrel, of a length to optimize a cartridges potential range. The barrel is hand lapped, includes our match muzzle crown, and is threaded at the muzzle end to accept a suppressor or flash hider. The rifle will have a light or medium weight, ergonomically designed fiberglass stock featuring pistol grip with palm swell, and the option of adjustable butt length and cheek piece. A high performance butt pad is included, to minimize shooter fatigue. This is the only rifle available which utilizes the M-14 box magazine supporting, 10 or 20 rounds of 7.62 NATO ammunition. Also, this magazine detaches by releasing only one lever, allowing the magazine to detach safely with only one hand the hand holding the magazine. The rifle has a 1911 Picatinny rail scope mount system, with oversized cap screw attachment to the action, for reliable performance. This mounting system can accept the widest variety of optical sights, including night vision optics, and is designed to enhance optics elevation adjustment providing 7.62 NATO rounds the ability to perform at ranges up to 1,000 meters. This rifle can be built to accept all forms of military ammunition, or with match chambers designed for specific cartridges, which will further enhance accuracy with those cartridges. All components of the rifle system will operate at temperatures from minus 40 degrees C, to plus 60 degrees C; with proper lubrication. All forms of accessories are available, including several bipod designs, sling arrangements, rifle kit cases, drag bags, ect. Cleaning and maintenance kits with spares are also available.
