Worked on all aspects of software development, from requirements gathering, design, coding, quality assurance testing, and deployment. Participated in software evaluations for high-volume document composition tools, and various presort, IMB software evaluations. Followed several development methodologies, including traditional SDLC, Waterfall, and Agile. Supported the brokerage statements process for 12 years which involved monthly releases of enhancements and bug fixes. Duties included requirements gathering from both external and internal customers, coding, and QA testing changes involving users from departments across the company. Most recent duties include managing and supporting the HP Exstream Dialogue tool set for the company, as well as supporting the presorting and use of IMB on all mail packets. Worked on developing several new types of confirm and bank statements.

Major Projects and Achievements


Lead the conversion efforts of the brokerage statements from Tandem COBOL/DJDE-based Xerox printed output, to multi-channel delivery of documents through the HP Exstream Dialogue tool. Currently this system produces 1.5 million mail packets a month, faster and more flexibly than before. Supported the conversion of 30 client correspondence letters to the HP Exstream Dialogue tool, which increased uniformity and helped to streamline print and mailing costs. Expanded the use of Customized Logos on documents, allowing personalization and customization of mail packets Lead the project team to deliver the basic level IMB to all documents produced. Involved numerous meetings with Postal Representatives and testing with USPS. Allowed cost savings and improved mail delivery. Led the effort to upgrade the production environment of HP Exstream to utilize virtual servers. Involved coordination across numerous project teams and operations areas.

Supported 7 design databases used for document production, as well as the development infrastructure used across the company to use the HP Exstream tool.
