" Megan, Resident Scholar "All Around the Town is about a young woman who was kidnapped and sexually abused for two years when she was really young. She was returned home but was never the same. Because of the pain of those two years Laurie developed a multiple personality disorder. This was never really a problem until the death of her parents. Then her alter personalities start to become active again. One of her alters, Leona, is madly in love with a professor at her college. She is doing things she can't remember, but when finally a college professor at her school is killed and Laurie is put on the charge of murder the last straw is drawn. Now Laurie has several personalities living inside of her that she never knew existed, and her sister will do everything to prove that Laurie was innocent or that one of her 'alter' personalities had done it.
