May 25, 2013 Alaska Republican Party Chairman Removal from the State Central Committee, Lisa Murkowski (default US Senate - R) Publicly pledged to support the winner of the Republican Primary and then upon losing that election, ran as write-in against the Republican Nominee for US Senate in 2010. Attachments: N/A All is a matter of public record. Charges Against: Lisa Murkowski (Sitting Member of Central Committee.) Charges: During the 2010 election cycle, while a sitting member of the ARP State Central Committee, Lisa Murkowski ran as a write-in campaign against the Republican Nominee. It is a matter of public record that not only did the senator engage in behavior that was against the rules, but showed reckless disregard for the will of Party members, and did so with extreme malice. The senator waged a multi-million-dollar smear campaign on the public airwaves against our Party Nominee, repeatedly making false claims and slanderous statements. She also intervened in the postelection court case. In doing so, she has done irreparable damage to the Party.

Outcome Requested: Removal from the Alaska Republican Party State Central Committee. Facts: After losing the Republican Nomination for US Senate in 2010, Lisa Murkowski ran against the Party Nominee in the general election. She did so despite the fact that she vowed to support the nominee at a public meeting at the Kenai Chamber of Commerce. She also waged a malicious public smear campaign in the press and on the public airwaves, as well as engaging in legal proceedings opposing the nominee after the election, and all while continuing to serve and be recognized as a member of ARP leadership and State Central Committee Member. Statement: All of this is public record, and has been backed up by private files. GROUNDS FOR REMOVAL: ARTICLE X - REMOVAL FROM REPUBLICAN PARTY OFFICE Any person holding elected ARP office may be removed from office for any of the following reasons: Section 1: Grounds for Removal (a) Engagement in any activities prohibited by or contrary to these rules or RNC Rules. (d) Promotion of the candidacy of anyone other than the Republican primary winner in a partisan contest. CANDIDACY PROMOTED: Lisa Murkowski, write-in candidate for US Senate in the same election by which she now claims continuing membership on the ARP State Central Committee. REPUBLICAN NOMINEE: Joe Miller, who had won the primary election (largest turnout in State history) by a margin of 2006 votes, receiving more than 55 thousand votes. For purposes of perspective, Miller received more than 10 thousand more votes than Lisa Murkowski did in her landslide victory over Mike Miller in the 2004 primary.
