OPEN TO ALL ANTHEM RESIDENTS! Florence Hospital will be at Sun City Anthem for two meetings to discuss their current financial status, level of services and insurance procedures. Dr. Art Doloresco, the new CEO, will address as many concerns as time permits. Also attending and available for questions are Dr. Zenji Reynolds, Dir. of Radiology and Amy Jascourt, Dir. of Patient Affairs and Marketing as well as other staff members. This will be an open forum with plenty of time for questions. These meetings are open to all Anthem residents.

Were walking for more than breast cancer, this year our net proceeds will go to Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center at Scottsdale Healthcare. They are known throughout the southwest for their commitment to providing personalized and innovative cancer care and research. Breakfast and lunch are provided for all registrants. Register early and buy your ducks for our Pink Duck Race! Register at the front desk today to guarantee your shirt size. Beer, Brats and Kraut are the fare for the night but the highlight of this years Oktoberfest comes to us straight from Germany! Die Echten Wald-Buam is scheduled to take the stage at 6:30 for 2 hours of authentic German music. Well make sure theres plenty of room on the dance floor for some great Polkas! Dinner at 5:30 will consist of Bratwurst with apples, onion and sauerkraut and something sweet to balance out the menu. This will be a CASH bar hosted by Poston Butte Golf Club. Domestic ontap beer will be available for $2.00 each. A German Beer and red, white & blush wine will also be available. The last day to purchase tickets is Friday, September 20! Resident favorite, Paul McDermand will join us again for our annual festive Welcome Back for our winter residents! Paul on steel drums & marimba is well worth coming out for but add to that a delicious Island buffet and other entertainment (still in the works) this event will not disappoint!
