Kumite is divided into 2 groups: 1. Yakusoku Kumite techniques and the level of attacks are pre-determined (Yakusoku) 2. Jiyu Kumite attacks and blocks are free (Jiyu) to test ones ability In Yakusoku Kumite, we distinguish: 1. Kumite that emphasize the training of basic techniques 2.
