WOOD BITS

UP SPIRAL ROUTER BITS

Freuds solid carbide up spiral bits combine
effective chip removal with a cut that cant be
matched by standard straight bits. The computer
designed flutes provide the chip removal required
in production settings. They are especially suited
for cutting mortices or routing deep blind holes.

DOUBLE FLUTE
STRAIGHT BITS

15

These bits cut smoother than other

straight bits because of the precise
shear and hook angle. End of bit
relief allows for fast plunging.

By changing the brazing you can select 3
different cut depths (1/4", 3/8", 1/2"). The bodies
are heat treated for strength and are computer
balanced for vibration free operation. Each
feature Freuds Anti-Kickback design to reduce

This bit will produce a strong joint

for edge gluing boards for raised
panels. It will not leave the dark lines like standard finger joint bits because all of its joining
surfaces are at an angle and not vertical. Also,
the bit does not have to be centred in the wood.
Just raise or lower the bit 7/32" to route the
mating edge.

WOOD BITS
ROUNDING OVER BITS
These rounding over bits are often used to soften
the edge of furniture. The shear angle provides
the smoothest cut available. These bits can be
equipped with a Freud 62-102 bearing for
beading work.

REVERSIBLE GLUE JOINT BIT

15

This bit will provide a strong joint by increasing

the surface area for the glue. Boards should first
be planed to a uniform thickness. Bit should be
aligned to the centre of the board. Then reverse
each board for a perfect glue joint.
