Part 1 General 1.00 Scope 1.00.1 Furnish all labor and materials equipment, plant and other facilities required to complete the ceiling as shown on drawings and hereinafter specified. All included under this Section shall be subject to General Conditions accompanying these Specifications. The Contractor and the SubContractor for this portion of work is required to refer especially thereto.

Part 2 Materials 2.01 Materials Covered A. Acoustic tiles shall be Mac board Fissured Design lay in type, 1/2 thick, 24 x 24 square edge or approved equivalent. Suspended aluminum T - Runners shall be Macgrid ceiling suspension system, trim or exposed framing or approved equivalent.

Trellis for waiting shade shall be made of 2 x 4 tubular aluminum on power coated aluminum work coated by Zamil Coating in RAL 1015, including its post or approved equivalent. Curtain track railing shall be aluminum, manually operated, complete with accessories, curtain cloth and V. blinds, to match the exposed T-runner color. Metal strip of approximately 85 mm in with shall be installed at the extension canopy ceiling as shown on the drawing for false ceiling finish. For offices (combination with gypsum board) and others as shown in the drawing. Other materials-specified below.

Part 3 Samples 1.01 All materials specified herein and in the drawings, samples shall be submitted in full size (as maybe possible) in duplicate for Consultant approval accompanying their manufacturers specifications.

PART 4 SHOP DRAWINGS AND DETAILS DRAWINGS 1.01 The Contractor shall submit with such promptness as to cause no delay in his own work or in that any Contractor, two (2) copies of shop drawings of method of ceiling of suspension prior to actual execution in conjunction with other related trades as to duct works, electrical, etc. The Consultant shall pass upon them with reasonable promptness, making desired corrections relating to artistic effect. The Contractor shall make any corrections required by the Consultants, file with him two (2) corrected copies. The consultants approval of such drawing shall not relieve the contractor from that responsibility for deviation from drawings and specifications for error of any sort in the shop drawings. Additional detail will be furnished application of the ceiling plans, as they are required. All such additional detail drawings are considered of equal force with those accompanying these specifications. 1.02 Under this shop drawing, actual installations details of curtain tracks, at clinic bedroom and venetian blinds at all windows curtain canals, and the waiting shade trellis and its support shall also be included to be submitted but the contractors. All shop drawings shall be prepared based on the approved material submitted.

Part 5 Installation 5.01 Suspended Ceiling a) All acoustic tile ceiling shall be installed by means of exposed grid method of suspension as per manufacturers recommendation with the coordination of the detailed contract drawings. Where hangers of ceiling shall be coincide with air conditioning ducts, plumbing pipes, electrical lights and installation, provide addition channel under air-conditioning ducts, plumbing pipes, electrical lights installation and hang acoustic tiles from under. All recessed lighting fixtures, air-conditioning grilles and outlets shall be carefully cut from acoustic tiles and additional reinforcement to the ceiling hanger be provided to secure lighting fixtures, air conditioning grilles, etc. All ceiling wood shall be kiln dried of at least to a maximum, on NCX fire retarding treated wood and be installed as per drawings, or equivalent approved wood treatment.

5.02

Curtain Tracks/Draperies a) All curtain rail tracks shall be installed in such a way as to no sagging, properly supported over to the suspended ceiling and without exposed screws connections, etc. that would spoil the artistic effect of the rails. Curtain clothes of good quality for clinic bedroom shall be installed at a length of 4 above the floor up to the curtain rail track. Approved fabric venetian blind shall be installed at all offices windows, vertical strip, 4 in width and height shall varies but at a constant level to 6 below the window sill up to the rail tracks. In the event of two different windows sill in a room, the longest height shall govern for uniformity.
