Fateh MERRAD over 1 year ago you will see some of the advanced method for creating surfaces of a car BMW X6 1. Step 1 1 - open a new file and choose the right plan and click on sketch image

2. Step 2 2 - but we must prepare images before, we choose the image

3. Step 3 3 - we put on the transparent image by clicking on the color of the image bleached by the pipette is left to bottom

4. Step 4 4 - and we do the same steps for other pictures

5. Step 5 5-.

6. Step 6 6 - and to plan the back by creating a parallel range plan to plan ahead

7. Step 7 7 - After I draw a spline on the image to the right plan

8. Step 8 8 - and extruding the spline

9. Step 9 9 - drawing a sketch on the plane below and we put two lines of construction until the mid plane

10. Step 10 10 - and the same operation on the right plan

11. Step 11 11 - after we make a projection for the two curves

12. Step 12 12 - After you connect the surface created with the projected line

13. Step 13 13 - we create another line near the first projection

14. Step 14 14 - Another projection curve

15. Step 15 15 - After you connect the two spline curve by a closed 3D sketch

16. Step 16 16 - and we perform the sketch

17. Step 17 17 - After we create a sketch on the plane as in the picture below

18. Step 18 18 - and we restrict the part we do not need

19. Step 19 19 - the same goes for the rear side of

20. Step 20 20 - We connect the two surfaces with a 3D spline

21. Step 21 21 - we create a boundary surface as in the picture

22. Step 22 22 - we hide the first area created

23. Step 23 23 - we can create the symmetry

24. Step 24 24 - and we note that the surfaces created are well established in terms

25. Step 25 25

26. Step 26 26

27. Step 27 27

28. Step 28 28

29. Step 29 29 -

30. Step 30 30 -

31. Step 31 31 - We connect the surface created with the projected curve

32. Step 32 32 -

33. Step 33 33 - you will find the model with other steps in How to create some surfaces of a car BMW X6 ?

5. harry over 1 year ago its a grt tutorial thanks for it.

6. Robert Stein over 1 year ago I never thought surfacing would be useful for me (it is still something I don't really need with my work area), but this tutorial is excellent!

If someone wants to know more about the commands "Daniel Levoue" did a DVD about creating car surfaces with solid works but I think you can't use it professional cause no A-Class surfaces possible. Tobias Mattsson over 1 year ago Great, have been following the guide some, but i think there is one important thing that is missing. You forget to specify in english what all the commands you are using are named. And at some steps you do not have a explanation of what you are supposed to do. Otherwise i like this initiative!! Jerome Demers over 1 year ago Bon ben moi je suis coinc!

It worked (4) Not helpful (1) Comment (2) 1. Jerome Demers over 1 year ago Boom! Reussi. j'ai compris le principe projected curve! :P La je suis au step 15, je dois les connecter avec un 3D sketch... ok sa marche bon moi j'arrte au step 21! j'ai besoin de pratique pour les 3D sketch, sinon sa fais de mauvais resultat si je continue thanks man! don't give up if you try this tutorial!
