No UTLA officer has ever condemned the foreign occupation of Iraq and AfghanistanNOT ONE. ! LAUSD has VIOLATED California mandate AB114 for 2 YEARS!

1. Financial transparency of all UTLA expenses including salary and benefits of ALL UTLA OFFICERS.

Rebuilding OUR UNION requires NEW LEADERSHIP!

2. Promote Comprehensive Peer Assessment / Teacher Self-evaluation. 3. Administrators AND LAUSD BOARD MEMBERS need to be evaluated by teachers.

(Assessment of Board members job approval rating not to exceed 40%). 4. Administrative actions must include a process of appeal. 5. Lower UTLA monthly dues proportionate to a members annual salary, years in service, level of education, and school site. 6. Probationary School teachers exempt from paying monthly dues. 7. Consecutive terms for UTLA officers/ board members strictly prohibited. 8. All UTLA officers/ board members meetings will be open to the public. 9. All UTLA officers/ board members meetings will develop a program to work in conjunction with local parent councils, and incorporate their input. 10. UTLA officers/ board members must teach part- time, in a priority school site.* *(Observing a class DOES NOT CONSTITUTE teaching). 11. Establish an Expedited Grievance Process/ No Confidence option to ensure UTLA governance is fair and impartial, UTLA Officers need to represent you based on or leaders are REMOVED from 100% commission or, work for a flat rate of office WITHOUT DELAY. minimum wage WITHOUT the possibility of 12.
