Internship Opportunities
The Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) is seeking interns to assist with projects and programs that enhance diversity and inclusiveness across the Pace community. All internships are unpaid. Interns will gain valuable experience working on programs and research that promote civic engagement and address social justice issues. Program Development Intern / diverCITIES Programs Openings: 2
OMAS diverCITIES Programs include volunteer, civic engagement, and research initiatives that explore the well-being and resilience of New York Citys communities, particularly those in underserved or rapidly changing areas. Interns work with faculty examining health and economic disparities and social justice issues. Interns will research volunteer opportunities; assist with developing OMAS digital and social media presence; promote OMA programs on campus; conduct community outreach; organize program events; and write documents for internal and external audiences.
All interns and research assistants assist with administrative task such as filing, copies, faxing, and data entry. Interns may be asked to complete other tasks as assigned.
Requirements

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a team Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment Commitment of a minimum of three (3) hours per week for at least one semester Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail Strong MS Word and MS Excel skills Social media savvy Prior office experience is preferred
