Working and studying at the same are both challenging and rewarding. Some students do these simultaneously for purposes of building a career in their chosen field hands-on as they study the field of law, while some basically need to provide for the usual school expenses. Some law students have a finance background from undergraduate studies, while most come from other non-finance fields in the social sciences and philosophy, arts and literature, among others. With the advent of the Philippines credit rating upgrade, now is the best time to share the stock market craze and make it appear less intimidating to students and young professionals who are interested in investing in the stock market but are reluctant to do so. Speakers from Wealth Securities, Inc., a leading stock brokerage in the Philippines and member of the Philippine Stock Exchange, will grace the event to help demystify the stock market and introduce a trading platform for a good start. This event is expected to draw audience not only from the UP College of Law, but from the rest of the UP Diliman community as well.
