Slide layout
Select an appropriate slide layout Use Title layout for title; and heading and bullet layout for the content Select a decent template Use the template that is appealing and can be shown well on projector. You can change the colors of the template if you want. Design menu Colors option

Bullets
Use bullets to indicate points Use sub- bullets for sub-points by giving tab key 1. Use numbering when you want to show a sequence 1. NEVER use bullets and numbering together You can change the bullet style from home menu bullets option Limit the bulleted points to 7-8 in a single slide
Fonts
Use the fonts that are visible on projector easily Dont use such fonts Use 24 32 as font size

Use DARK color fonts, or Colors that contrast with the Background NEVER use light color fonts, or colors that mix with background

Use bold and Italic fonts when emphasizing a point Check the spelling mistakes from spellcheck options from Review menu You can highlight important word from each sentence or point by color change or bold or italic fonts
Spacing
Whenever you are writing long paragraphs like this one, make sure you use 1.5 line spacing instead of one. Even when you feel the slides contain too much words in one paragraph, use 1.5 line spacing. Go to Home menu Line spacing Option for making changes in line spacing

Presentation Tips
Dont read all the text in the slide, especially when the content is a long paragraph Highlight important points so that you can recall it in detail. Know each and every word used in the slide Read your slides at least 2 times before presenting it to audience.
