NOTICE OF ELECTION

The Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission will be conducting a secret ballot election to determine whether 51 % of the employees of the De Pere School District in an existing teacher bargaining unit want to continue to be represented by the De Pere Education Association for the purposes of collective bargaining. The election will be conducted telephonically with the assistance of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) - a nationally recognized neutral organization committed to conducting a fair election. You may vote any time between noon Friday, November 1, 2013 and noon Thursday, November 21, 2013. You cannot change your vote after it is cast. When the voting period ends, the AAA will provide the Commission with the results of the election and the names of those who voted and the Commission will, in turn, provide the results and names to the Employer and the Union.

DIRECTION OF ELECTION De Pere Education Association, herein the Petitioner, having on August 28, 2013 filed a petition with the Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission, requesting the Commission to conduct an election, pursuant to Section 111.70(4)(d)3.b., Stats. among employees in the teacher bargaining unit, to determine whether said employees want to continue to be represented by the Petitioner for the purposes of collective bargaining; and the Commission being satisfied that such an election should be conducted; NOW, THEREFORE, it is DIRECTED That an election by secret ballot shall be conducted under the direction of the Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission among all employees in the teacher bargaining unit, who were so employed on August 28, 2013 except that such employees I as may prior to the election quit their employment or be discharged for cause, for the purpose of determining whether at least 51 % of the employees in the bargaining unit want to continue to be represented by the De Pere Education Association for the purposes of collective bargaining with the De Pere School District.
