Urgent open letter to EU commissioner Mr Janez Potonik, Mr Liam Cashman and whom else this concerns!

We are forced to write with extreme urgency. Links will as always be provided below and we urge EU to study them very close since they show very clearly how dark and undemocratic this whole matter is handled from the predator haters here from hunters and livestock holders all the way up to authorities and our government. Our government who as we pointed out in our previous letter constantly run around trying to find loopholes on how to extinct our predators instead of focus on how we can save them and follow EU directives on this extremely sensitive matter are enforcing some rather extreme and undemocratic measures to achieve exactly that. They have now delegated the decisions on wolf hunts to a lower authority. This results as we understand it in the only way to appeal that decision is now to EPA. That in its turn lands the appeals with the very authority who by tradition always granted hunters industry to slaughter those endangered wolves. When EPA does not change the county boards decision, the right to appeal to court is about to be wiped for all preservation organizations. This means no one will be able to get an independent trial for those wolves anymore. The type of independent trials that our government seem to dislike so much since it mostly ended up saving the wolves, giving them the right to live, and follow EU directives while they tried the matters namely our court system This goes to show, that no matter what our government will answer EU on this matter concerning Swedens management of endangered species they do and did exactly what we informed you all they will do, spend their time and our money on how to get around democracy, the people and naturally also EU and your directives. The consequences this lands our predators in is the fact that hunters and livestock holders industry now always win the right to kill our endangered animals as they see fit and we know their goal is zero predators, this they have not exactly kept a secret.

As of this weekend they have also slaughtered 1 wolf a day referring to 28 in our hunting law claiming self-defense as if Swedish wolves were some form of mutant that aggressively started having a complete unique behavior of its own on this planet. We all know this is not the case, anyone with the slightest bit of knowledge knows a lie about a wolf when we see it. Link nr 3, concerning the latest slaughter where they claim there was no scaring the wolf off and then they brag in public on how they been tracing this wolf since last winter, instead of taking their grand estate of 300 hectares and start fencing. But as always, they also scream we dont get granted any money for it so we cant. Goes to show one can have 300 hectares land, but cant even finance the maintenance on it so the wolf must die, and so it did indeed. The very same people from livestock holders to government who scream at EU; give us more money, also run out scream we do not have to follow EU directives. This is so disgraceful its amazing that EU dont simply kick Sweden out of EU to be completely honest. We also urge EU to study link 4; where some 40 hunters claim they were not even hunting the wolf, but herding the sheep. And yet they did not manage to scare off that wolf but shot that one as well. Its truly beyond ridiculous the whole thing and wolves die by the number here now as a result of this. WAS cannot stress the urgency in these cases enough since these deaths cannot be revoked. WAS feel that we have with this done our best to inform you on how this state worked behind everyones back EU included to get around all the directives we are obliged to follow, and the predators last chance now before they are completely doomed is that our commissioner with staff finally realizes, there is no solving this. The anti-democratic forces here, hunters, livestock holders, authorities and government are set on pushing the preservation side and the predators over the cliff, and with that also set EU completely aside. And unfortunately this seems to be very successful as of now. The last resort for us to save wolves thru a democratic independent trial in a court system while EU were given time to investigate Sweden is no longer existing, and we cannot stress the seriousness of this undemocratic act from the ones mentioned above. This has seriously undermined the entire system here in Sweden not to mention how spiteful this act is to entire EU who as we understood it seriously are trying to save these endangered species. The outcome of all this can now only be devastation. WAS would like to point out we have filed a complaint to JO, Swedish parliaments justice department on how the decisions are taken Friday nights only to be executed the following morning by countless amounts of hunters when no chance to appeal are possible due to all authorities and courts are closed. We will forward that complaint as well; unfortunately this is all in Swedish, not to mention with the latest move from the undemocratic people at power that will no longer have any meaning either as we see it now.
