Change sales order status from processing to complete

sales order is for 100 ea,delivered 50 ea.sales order status is being processed.now the customer don,t want to take pending quantity.now client wants to close the sales order and status should appear as completed. client don't want to change sales order quantity or give reason for rejection.(manual changes). how to solve this?make sales order status as complete.

If it was the case, u had mentioned, then go to T-code VA02 - click on reason for rejection - then give against the material for the pending qty give the reason for rejection and save the document, now if u check in the document flow, this sales order will be in completion status. rgds Sunil

Suresh, Go ahead and put the Reason for rejection in Item level under STATUS tab. Then system complete the sales order Thanks Mallareddy

There is other way also to set this as complete - go to item - Shipping - increase the under delivery tolerance to more than 50% and this will consider the item as complete.

Go to Vl02n, and put B flag in Partial Delivery, that will complete the process for sales order and status will change Ziauddin Syed Certified SAP SD Consultant

Dear Suresh, Sales order is commitment made in the system usually after getting a firm purchase order. now system records 100 number as confirmed commitment.Unless this confirmed is delivered the system will not close it.As suggested by Mr.Sunil you can close the order.otherwise we need to amend the order for 50 numbers only. in this case also the order will show complete status.
