years ago, and the trends towards consolidations through takeovers is likely to continure.
Product development is enormously expensive and there is a need to spread and reduce
costs as much as possible. And against a background of recent recession, it is difficult to
persuade customers to accept price rises.
The aim of consolidation and globalization is to
achieve economies and it is a response to realities in the market place. All manufacturers
are faced with the meeting new and stricter noise and emission rules and it makes sense
to collaborate as far as possible. Companies are much more inclined to form alliances or
strike one-off deals with competitors across regional and continental boundaries. At the
same time, subsidiaries within groups cooperate with each other to achieve global
strategic objectives.

According to me second version is the best. This version is more structured and correct.
The content of this version are organized properly with proper punctuations. The use of
connecting conjunctions is also appropriate in second version and sentences are properly
connected and have a logical flow.
