Process:
Have child paint bubble wrap in chosen colors Place paper over painted bubble wrap Rub gently Peal back paper, TAD-DA!

Materials Needed:
Bubbles Liquid water colors Straws

Process:
Add liquid water color to the cups Give each child a straw and practice blowing Place straw in the cup and cover with paper Blow bubbles until paper saturates Move onto next cup/colorBRING your straw with you.

Materials Needed:
Shaving cream Paint Paint smocks

Process:
Cover table
Help children get smocks on Gather at the table Dispense shaving cream on the table Add paint color per child instructions Allow them to play Optional paper stamp Note: can also be done with cool whip or reddi whip

Materials Needed:
Yarn or other sting Clothes pins Paint

Process:
Add different paint colors to paint trays Clip the end of sting with the paper clipuse making tape to secure shut Dip sting in paper Drag across paper

5. ball painting
Materials Needed:
Various balls Large sheet of butcher paper Paint

Process:
Have kids change into their swimming suits Go outside and lay paper on the ground Add paint to lids & water down Have kids dip balls in paint Bounce balls on the paper

6. marble painting
Materials Needed:
Plates with a lip or cake pan & paper Paint Marbles

Process:
Add drops of paint to plates OR lay paper in cake pan and add drops of paint Add marbles Roll marbles in pan/plate until child decides its done Repeat

Materials Needed:
Vinegar Eye dropper Baking soda

Process:
Color vinegar with food coloring in a small dish Give each child a plate/bowl with baking soda Give each child an eye dropper Use droppers to drip vinegar into baking soda

8. color collage
Materials Needed:
Table salt Glue Stiff paper

Process:
Have children randomly glue all over paper Sprinkle generously with salt Allow to dry Use eye droppers and liquid water colors to drop color onto the salt Continue until salt is all colored

Materials Needed:
Small canvas Water colors Brush

Process:
Give each child a canvas or use a large one as a group. Have them water color all over to cover the entire surface While canvas is still wet, drizzle glue over canvas Then sprinkle salt over picture

10. window art


Materials Needed:
Window or mirror Window crayons Window markers

Process:
Give children marker or crayons and allow them to draw whatever they like on the window or mirror.

Materials Needed:
Sand Paint Paper

Process:
Add sand to paint Allow children to finger paint and enjoy the sensory of the project

Process:

Give each child a milk filter Allow them to color wherever or whatever they would like Spray with spray bottle Watch the colors spread and bleed together

Materials Needed:
Crayola air dry clay Play-doh sculpting tools

Process:
Give each child some clay Sit with them, create snakes and pots, and various sculptures together Then have children create their own creation to save Air dry creations

15. balloon painting


Materials Needed:
1 balloon per child Paint Paint tray (ice cream pail lid)

Process:
Add paint to paint dishes Give each child a balloon Have them dip the balloon in paint

And then stamp onto paper

Note: some children may have a latex allergy

16. corn painting


Materials Needed:
Paint Dried ears of corn Paint brushes

Process:
Give each child an ear of corn Allow them to paint all over it Then have them roll it onto paper

Note: you could just have them paint the corn too.

Materials Needed:
Sugar cookie dough Cookie cutters Small paint brushes (CLEAN)

Process:
Prepare cookie dough Cut dough with cookie cutters Bake according to directions

Allow to cool
Mix sugar and water or milk until you get a nice glaze consistency Add food coloring Allow children to paint on frosting

Process:
Place paint on small dish Give each child a feather or 2 Have them dip it in paint

Process:
Give each child a paper Have them press their fingers in the stamp pad And apply to paper Older children may like to add details with markers

Add water colors to spray bottles Have children arrange materials over paper Then spray with water colors Move materials and spray with a new color Repeat

Process:
Soak crayons in a bowl of water to allow the papers to come off easily Have children break crayons and place pieces in the muffin tin

Bake at 250 until the crayons are melted


Place in freezer for easy removal from tin Allow children to color on paper with their new crayons

Process:
Have child dip the end of the straw in the paint. Place finger over the other end Move straw over paper Then BLOW

Place dots of paint on paper Give children a straw Show them how to blow and manipulate their paper to make the paint flow in different directions

Process:
Add water colors to spray bottles or squirt bottles Have children dress to go outside (winter). Give each child a spray/squirt bottle and allow them to paint the snow

This also works with dried markers.

Grown-up paint brushes Paint rollers Water

Process:
Dress child in their swimming suit Go outdoors Give them a brush or roller & water

Process:
Place sand in dishes Have children draw in the sand with hands or other utensils Prepare plaster of Paris Carefully pour into dish over drawing Allow to dry Remove plaster

Multiple large sheets of butcher paper Paint or large stamp pads Shallow dishes

Process:
Place paint in shallow dishes or use stamp pads Have children step carefully into paint/stamp Walk directly on paper

Note: Only painting one foot helps to prevent injuries from slipping.

Process:
Water down paint Help each child with their goggles Give children paint brushes

Process:
Give children magazines and newspapers Have them tear & crumple papers as long as they like Then glue papers to cardboard.

Process:
Tie bottle with string to a tree limb Add paint/water mixture 50/50 in bottle Add glue bottle top to bottle Place paper under the pendulum Open glue nozzle Swing pendulum

Process:
Dress kids in swimming suits Go outdoors Spread paper over the grass

Roll butcher paper down slide, secure Have children go down the slide with markers or crayons Allow them to mark however they choose while going down the slide

Process:
Have children squirt paint on their papers. Then use rolling pins to spread it out

Materials Needed:
Butcher paper Paint squeegee

Process:
Allow children to squirt paint onto paper Then use a squeegee to move paint around.

Note: best done outdoors

Materials Needed:
Paint brushes Metal clothes hanger or thick wire Duct tape

Process:
Cut hanger and bend to form a V Tape brushes to each end Have children dip into paint

Add paint to ice cube tray Place popsicle sticks into paint Freeze

Process:
Place paper in box
Add drops of paint Add metal items Use wand under box to move metal items trough paint
