FS 3 Technology in the Learning Environment School of Education, Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan First Semester, School Year 2013-2014 Part 3. On Your Insights and Realizations

Which of the centers have caught your attention most? Why? The center that caught my attention most is their library. There are only few books in which they cant accommodate all the subjects that they really want to use. There are books which cant be use because of their resources. The books which should be use are for electronics subject and fishery or for taking care of fishes in the pond. They dont have teachers to teach that particular subject and fish pond for their observations.

Which of the instructional materials caught your attention most? Why? The IM that caught my attention most is their computer laboratories for their computer subject. The version of their computers is not upgraded.

Which instructional materials/gadgets are you confident to use/operate? The Instructional materials that I can say that Im confident to use are computers, blackboard, power point slides, TV and CD/DVD player, charts and books.

Which instructional materials/gadgets do you feel the need to learn more about? The Instructional materials that I need to learn more are the Diorama and Transparencies.

More insights and realizations for this episode After my observation in Puntod National High School, I am amazed because even though they have only limited centers and IMs they can still manage to gain more knowledge. The teachers were so good in teaching their students. Also, the students are willing to understand every lesson they have and I can see in their actions that they are a competitive students. Also, I admire their principal because she is so hospitable. She was the one pointing a teacher for us to interview. Shes really a good role model for us as a future teacher. I felt so sad for their library. There are only few books and the area was too small.
