We all love having Mars in our sign, because as the ancient astrologers used to say, when you have Mars moving through your own sign, you have energy, drive, and courage. You'll fiercely defend any proposal you have to show, and because you will not be willing to take "no" for an answer, you'll surely accomplish most of what you set out to do. Once Mars leaves your sign, this lively red planet won't return to your sign until late October 2014. Make this month count for you! Knowing this, as you begin December, have a look at your goals and decide which one would have the best potential for longterm growth and happiness. up! This is only the beginning! The eclipse of November 28 will still be exerting a field of energy in early December, so you may have recently been given a new assignment as a result. If so, you will likely be thinking about how to best go about approaching it and how to make it a big success. You are right to consider taking it, as it came to you as a result of an eclipse conjunct Jupiter, suggesting you have an opportunity to see a lucrative sum of money as a result. It is alternatively possible that you are finishing up a major project as you begin December. If so, the fact that the project was highlighted by a mainly favorable eclipse suggested that this assignment will get you considered for even more big, sophisticated projects in the future - all eclipses have a second act. Now let's turn to the new moon in Sagittarius, December 13, that can help you sort out priorities for the coming year. It is always wise, just prior to your birthday, to make room for new friendships and opportunities and to let go of any obligations, ongoing commitments, or relationships that you feel have completely run their course and that you know in your heart you do not want to continue. Of course, you will want to hold on to many elements of your present life, but if anyone or anything has dragged you down, or made you feel terribly burdened and you want out, this is the time to think about whether there are ways to extricate from that situation. For example, if a mother-in-law has been difficult, maybe there is a way for you to move to a new location where you won't be in as close proximity - moving might actually help the relationship. Mercury is considered to be the planet of thinking, and Uranus is said to be "the higher octave" of Mercury, taking the articulate thinking of Mercury into the higher, more complex realm of genius. On December 14 you will be innovative, experimental, and even iconoclastic, so by all means, set aside time to tinker with your projects because you may hit on an idea that proves brilliant.

Mars will be in "mutual reception" with Uranus this month when Mars moves into Aquarius to stay from December 25 to February 1. While you will be spending more than usual, you seem to have more money coming in, too. A mutual reception occurs when you have two planets with each one in the sign the other one rules. So, for example, here we have Mars in Aquarius - Aquarius rules Uranus. Also at the same time, Uranus is orbiting in Aries, and Mars rules Aries, and here you have it, a mutual reception! This is good news, for it means that in a mutual reception each planet becomes the best buddy of the other, so Mars and Uranus will support one another until February 1. Further, like a long-married couple, each one will start to AC T like the other, too, in a true blending of energies. This is all exciting news, for I feel it means you will have a chance to make good money in December, either by having a side job, or by taking on a new work assignment or client, or by making a killing in real estate. You also will be a virtual idea factory this month, surprising everyone, including yourself! Romantically, you seem to do best in the beginning of the month. Venus will be in Scorpio, a sign that blends nicely with yours, from the start of your forecast period until February 15. As said, you will have Mars in C apricorn, making you super attractive. Summary December will be one of your most potent months of 2012 for two glorious reasons. First, you are edging close to birthday time, and the Sun will soon move into C apricorn by December 21, to act like a formidable protector of your interests. Second, Mars is still touring your sign, C apricorn, from December 1 to 24, giving you courage, presence, power, and control. Last month, Mercury was retrograde, a time you were forced to watch and wait for a better time to launch your dearest plans, but that waiting period is over. In December, you can start taking steps to set down blueprints for a major push in mid-January. For much of December you will still be in strategic mode, perfecting details and analyzing all your plans and double-checking your assumptions, but soon, you can move ahead full throttle - wait for the new moon in C apricorn on January 11. The eclipse of late last month, November 28, may have brought a new project up for your consideration - if so, it looks like a profitable one you will want to continue to investigate. If you already accepted the project, good. You will now think about the best way to approach it and choose the methods you will use. Uranus will be very prominent and friendly in December, which is good news for you because it suggests that either a generous raise or other source of earned income will head your way. Uranus, the planet of sudden, unanticipated news, and ruler of your second house of income, will turn on its full power December 13, after having been retrograde since July 13. When it comes to romance, you will have a strong advantage. Mars in C apricorn, December 1 to 24, will give you presence and allure, and Venus in compatible Scorpio from December 1-15 will give you a certain aura of mystery that admirers will be attracted to that will make them want to know you better. Together Mars and Venus can give you double the cosmic goodies during December's first half, just the time that holiday parties are peaking. Plan to be out and about, meeting and greeting others! If you are hoping to marry you may get engaged or wed within days of the full moon in C ancer, December 28. Stay flexible, however, in that Uranus may bring an urgent domestic or family situation that may distract you from your celebration. Indeed, it may be pressing enough to cause you to drop everything to attend to the matter, and it may involve a close family member. If you feel you and your partner are not compatible, despite all the hard work and time you have already given this relationship, you may now part forever. I say this because there are some elements of this full moon that could blow apart a struggling, unhappy relationship. In that scenario, you would be free to find someone more suitable for you. The housing problems I see may, in this case, have to do with one of you who may be moving out if you had both lived together. (It is only one of a host of family or residential possibilities, but it seems like a logical one.) You already know if this fits your situation, so let's stay optimistic and center on those C apricorns who are in love. If you are right for one another, this sentimental full moon in C ancer of December 28 (plus or minus four days of influence) can, and will, draw you closer despite family or housing concerns that may be swirling about you at the time. The love you share is the most important element here. You can always delay your formal engagement to another day if you choose to do so.
