BRISKET WITH STONE-GROUND MUSTARD SAUCE
Brisket Ingredients:
1 (3-pound) beef brisket
6 cups water
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
2 cups (2-inch cut) celery
4 medium carrots, cut into 2-inch pieces
2 medium onions, cut into 2-inch pieces
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper
1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
2 bay leaves
Sauce Ingredients:
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 cup country-style Dijon mustard
1/2 cup currant jelly
1/2 cup LAND O LAKES™ Heavy Whipping

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce whisk. Cook over
medium heat, stirring
Place brisket in 5-quart saucepan or Dutch occasionally, until
oven; add water. Add all remaining brisket in- smooth and bubbly (2 to

Shelby Daytona Coupe Fails to Set New World

Record at Mecum Auction
With the bidding starting at $4 million,
you have got to feel pretty good about the
outcome of the sale.
According to Discovery HD via autoblog,
bidding started at $4 million and started to
climb, but stalled at $6.8 million, not
enough to reach the reserve price. As a
consequence, the 1965 Shelby Daytona
Cobra Coupe CSX2601 “stepped” off the
stage to be re-auctioned at a later time.
Mecum Auction President Dana Mecum,
however, is confident he will eventually
sell the rare piece. "I'll think we'll get a
deal done by the end of the weekend," he
was quoted as saying by the aforemen-
tioned sources.
The 1965 Shelby Daytona Cobra was one
of six models particularly built by
1965 Shelby Daytona Cobra
Coupe CSX2601
Carroll Shelby to race against Ferrari in
the FIA World Manufacturers Champi-
onship for the GT class.
The car features a coupe body designed by
Pete Brock and based on an older Cobra
chassis, modifications that attracted a
speed increase by 25 mph.

John Dillinger's pistol hits the block
NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Leg-
endary bank robber John Dillinger is be-
coming even more notorious thanks to
Johnny Depp, who portrays him in the
new movie "Public Enemies." That resur-
gence in Dillinger's public profile could
mean tidy profits for a pair of gun owners
later this month.
Dillinger's derringer, a miniature pistol
that was found in the outlaw's sock when
he was arrested in 1934, is going up for
auction on July 25 and is expected to fetch
$45,000.
Meanwhile, the gun that felled Dillinger
could bring in $12,000 when it goes on the
block on July 28 - one day after the 75th
anniversary of his death. Dillinger became
famous during the Depression for his
brazen bank rob-
beries and his
knack for avoid-
ing capture. His
life and criminal
career are now the
subject of "Public Enemies," starring Depp
and Marion Cotillard.

arrested in Tucson, Ariz., in 1934. After his

Leslie Hindman Auctioneers. The .38 Colt
Army Special is estimated to garner bids
between $8,000 and $12,000.
The sheriff who originally arrested
Dillinger later gave the Derringer to Eve-
lyn Jenney, described by Heritage Auction
Galleries as "an attractive young widow."
Jenney then gave it to her son, William
Jenney, in 1949. A decade later he sold the
weapon to an unnamed party, who is now
auctioning off the derringer.
