INTRODUCTION
This manual illustrates QVCs performance standards and test methods for various QVC Apparel and Home textiles products. It contains standard testing methods as well as requirements for various products, providing a summary of QVCs expectations in terms of performance and compliance for such products. Vendors should be aware of QVCs quality expectation level prior to negotiating prices, price commitments and order agreements. As such, QVC products specifications are provided to all QVC vendors.

Dear Vendor, Please be advised of the above legislation changes which have now been th introduced within the European Union and comes into force on the 8 May 2012. There are several changes within the standard but the main one concerns any products that you supply QVC that contain either leather or suede components. In these instances the fibre composition label must carry the normal % breakdown of the components used but must also state at the top of the fibre comp label CONTAINS CONTAINS NON. It will NON -TEXTILE PARTS OF ANIMAL ORIGIN See diagram below. be illegal to sell any product containing parts of animal origin without this information.
