As per the needs of UNICEFs country programme, we offer consultancy opportunities and future Temporary Appointment job openings in different areas such as Health & Nutrition, Education, Water, Sanitation & Hygiene, Child Protection, Social Policy and Monitoring, Research and Communication (Knowledge Management). These Consultancies and Job Openings will be based in various provinces in Indonesia: Jayapura, Manokwari, Kupang, Makassar, Banda Aceh, Surabaya and Jakarta. (Please quote the Field of expertise and the preferred duty station, e.g. Roster Education, Jayapura) PROFILE OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Advanced/ University degree in one of the disciplines relevant to the following areas: Health & Nutrition, Education, Water, Hygiene and Sanitation (WASH), Communication for Development, Knowledge Management, Child Protection, Social Policy and Monitoring. At least 5 (five) years of progressive professional experience in the related field. Experience working in the UN or other international development organization, and field work experience would be an asset. Project implementation related experience including government counterparts, donors, other UN agencies, etc is also required. Strong experience in research and facilitation activities, writing and reporting Good advocacy skills and proven ability to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions. Ability to work productively in a multi-cultural environment Strong team work, communicates effectively to varied audiences, sets high standards for quality of work, strong analytical skill. Computer skills/ IT knowledge required. Proficiency in standard office applications. Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and verbal is required.
