That Council authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute The Fire Department Mutual
Aid Agreement with Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge and Mission attached to this staff
report.

That Council approve an increase to contract FT08-222 for B&B Contracting Ltd.
funded from Miscellaneous Roads DCC Account in the amount of $150,000.

That Council approve the increase to the contract to Chet Construction Ltd. funded
from the Watermain Replacement account, in the amount of $70,038 to the
construction contract FT09-202.
CARRIED
That Council approve the transfer of funds from the Water Main Infrastructure
Replacement account in the amount of $112,000 to a new account for the purpose
of completing a looped watermain with fire hydrants on 204 Street between 62
Avenue and 64 Avenue.

C. PRESENTATIONS
1. 2008 Annual Report – South Fraser Family Court & Youth Justice Committee
Shirley Gust, Vice-Chair, South Fraser Family Court & Youth Justice Committee was
in attendance and provided a presentation regarding the 2008 Annual Report. She
commented that the sub committee reviewed the Terms of Reference and
completed the Paper Forum project on family violence, which was published in 16
newspapers and distributed to organizations within B.C. She noted that the
Committee met its goals for 2008 and will focus on such activities in 2009 as a police
sponsored youth club, protection of children abusing drugs legislation, anti-bullying,
and a website containing information and links to available services to parents,
teachers and community members. She continued that there has been greater
police involvement on the committee providing a platform for shared information,
ideas and best practices. She also advised that their budget was amended and
member municipalities will not be requested to provide funding in 2009.
