The Philadelphia Sports Medicine Congress is an annual educational program dedicated to celebrating the storied past and advancing the bright future of sports medicine in Philadelphia. We have established an annual tradition of honoring leaders in the field of sports m e d i c i n e with our honorary lectures. The Joseph S. Torg Lecture is given by a physician who has made a significant contribution to the Sports Medicine Community. This year we will honor Dr. Ray Moyer, Temple Universitys Team Physician. The Theodore C. Quedenfeld Lecture is given by an athletic trainer who has made a significant contribution to the field of sports medicine. We are privileged to recognize his impact in the community by continuing this important tradition. T h i s year we will be honoring Steve Bair of Overbrook High School in South Jersey. We have made every effort to provide a faculty with the highest qualifications and to provide interesting lecture topics that will meet your needs.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course will focus on current concepts on cutting edge issues in sports medicine. We will highlight all aspects of sports medicine. Historical aspects of sports medicine in Philadelphia will be highlighted. This course is directed toward athletic trainers, physical therapists, physicians, and advanced practice nurses and physician assistants.
