The School of Education, Central University of Himachal Pradesh will organise a 10 day workshop on Research Methodology in Social Sciences from November 12 to November 21, 2013 under the aegis of Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi. The workshop will focus on understanding Research Methodology and its applicability and suitability within the emerging paradigms of social sciences. The workshop will also emphasize upon the limitations of positivist research methods and will explore the alternatives more adaptable to the emerging needs in the research of Social Sciences. All the outstation participants will be provided basic boarding and lodging facilities as the hospitality to the cost of this institution. Travelling allowance will be paid as per the ICSSR norms. The candidates may apply on the prescribed application form as given below. The duly filled form should be sent through e-mail or hard copy to the Course Director latest by 25th October, 2013. There is limited availability of participation which will be allotted on first come - first serve basis. It is needless to mention that incomplete application will not be entertained. Eligibility: The Applicant must be a registered PhD Scholar of any University. The selected participants shall bring their proof of Identity and a recommendation letter to this effect by their institution.
