Abstract
A mode of self-organized traffic information system has been proposed in this study based on inter-vehicle communication in reaction to
the release and collection of real-time congestion information, aiming at the realization of automatic acquisition, rapid dissemination,
data integration and updating. Further, the traffic simulation and evaluation under complex road network have been performed by means
of the second development of VISSIM (traffic simulation software), which has verified the effectiveness and feasibility of the mode.
