Should you be elected, what are three specific areas youd like to change, address, improve or further research,
and how specifically would you go about it?:
I believe Chester Township is one of the best communities in which to live anywhere in our country. If elected to
Trustee of Chester Township I intend to continue building the value residents have always found in our
community. As part of the Chester township board: 1.) I would solicit input from all the community stakeholders:
Residents, township employees, community businesses, and organizations. I would use this input to lead
development of both short term and long term objectives for the township and establish plans to meet those
objectives. 2.) I would promote and support the active involvement of our capable township employees as well
as our highly talented and qualified residents on committees and in related roles that would help us meet our
goals 3). I would thoroughly investigate and seek to fully understand the rationale for investing in any of our
township resources prior to making decisions. The techniques I would use are the same as seen in our
contemporary business environment: Use of Standard Work, Measure and Report, Accountability, and Continuous
Improvement coupled with regular training.

As a past member of the Citizens Advisory Board I led the successful introduction of Ambulance Rebilling that is
currently earning Chester Township an estimated $250,000 per year. I Chaired Chester Twps Disaster planning
project, Recycling Project, Chester Clean-up and many other activities. I will use my professional training and
experience as well as my interest in people and joy of working with others to help bring Chester to the level of an
even better community. I will maintain a professional approach and friendly attitude to my fellow trustees,
township employees, business associates, and community residents.
