TITLE : FUNCTION OF SALES & MARKETING DEPT

1.0

SCOPE 1.1 This procedure defines and describes the authority & responsibilities for sales & marketing department within AP Petrochemical (Vietnam) Co.,Ltd (hereinafter referred to as APPV); 1.2 This does not cover the responsibilities & authorities of the person whose falling outside the sales & marketing department;

2.0

OBJECTIVES To ensure that the responsibilities and authorities of the sales & marketing department responsible for the quality related activities are clearly defined and described herein

3.0

FUNCTIONAL & PROFESSIONAL TASKS 3.1. To act as a commercial link between customers and company organization; 3.2. To expand business and develop potential customers to achieve business target; 3.3. 3.4. 3.5. 3.6. 3.7. 3.8. 3.9. 3.10. To keep good relationship with customers; Calls on current and potential customers; Identify business opportunity and develop new accounts; Builds strong relationships with customers and maintains constant contact; Assists in establishing sales quotas and budgets; Serves the needs and requirements of key sales accounts; Advises management on market trends and feedback; Any other matters as and when required.

RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES 4.1. The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for 4.1.1 ensuring that the procedure is properly implemented, and 4.1.2 leading the sales & marketing department to achieve the targets set out by the Management;

4.1.3 assisting and making comment if necessary to the Management Board for revising the task & responsibilities of sales & marketing department; 4.2. The Sales & Marketing Manager is authorized to be entitled to approve commercial expenses and to implement the followings upon the consent from General Director : Price negotiation and Contracts Subscription Give suggestion on Recruitment and termination of staff within Sales & Marketing Department Contribute to the development of sales/marketing strategy ; 5.0 KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS 5.1. Achieving Sales & Marketing Plan; 5.2. Sales revenue; 5.3. New account and account retention; 5.4. Customers visit reports; 5.5. Timeliness in attending to and resolving customers inquiry & complaints; 6.0 LIST OF RELEVANT PROCEDURES NIL
