Environment plays a large role in every humans life. A variety of environmental problems now affect our entire world. As globalization continues and the earth's natural processes transform local problems into international issues, few societies are being left untouched by major environmental problems. Frequently we just dont pay attention to all bad things we do to nature. Unfortunately, pollution levels are increasing at an alarming rate and we should do everything as well as we can to reduce it. The main reason why it is so important to protect the environment is that we should think not only about ourselves but about future generations as well. Environmental problems

Overpopulation Urban sprawl is caused by overpopulation. There are more and more people in the cities and this number is growing. Heavy traffic, littering, destruction of natural environment and many other problems are caused by overpopulation. This problem would be solved, if we raised the awareness of family planning.

Environmental problems are an important topic nowadays. Thats air pollution, global warming, overpopulation, water pollution, deforestation and so on. Its hard to believe, that all of these problems are caused by humans. We must understand, that when we damage the environment, we damage ourselves, too.

Deforestation Other common environmental problem is deforestation. More and more forests are cut down or being burnt. It is a big problem, because trees takes carbon dioxide from the air and produce oxygen, which is necessary for people to breathe. As a result of deforestation, less and less oxygen is being produced. A good idea would be to replant cut trees and fine people who cut trees illegally.

Water contamination The first problem is water contamination. Our rivers and lakes are full of industrial waste. Water contamination is caused by pouring dangerous chemicals into oceans, rivers and streams. Polluted water is very dangerous for fishes, because they can be poisoned by contaminated water and die out. Also water pollution can result in stomach illnesses. In order to avoid that, we should fine factories which pollute seas and rivers.

Acid rain Acid rain is polluted rain which damages buildings, trees, plants, lakes. The problem of acid rain is caused by factories and cars. They release poisonous chemicals into the air. There should be filters fitted in to the factories in order to reduce emitted fumes.

Littering Destruction layer of the ozone The problem of littering is caused by dropping food waste on the streets. Also our society is producing too much packaging. Littering can result in spread of diseases, so we should encourage recycling or even fine people, who are littering. In the city there should be more rubbish bins, because sometimes its hard to find a rubbish bin around.

The problem of destruction of the ozone layer is caused by chemicals from aerosol sprays and fridges. As a result more and more people are getting skin cancer. We should use less aerosol sprays.
