When MINISTAR takes the stage, the curtain rises on a whole new world of luminaire and furniture design. For the first time on a halogen reflector lamp, the reflector is integrated in the pin-base lamp itself. The secret is a silver high-tech coating that not only looks brilliant but also reduces the thermal load in the luminaire.

An all-round talent with a bright future

MINISTAR with its G4/GY6.35 base will fit in all existing halogen luminaires. In the luminaires of today it will impress thanks to its high luminous intensity and low thermal output. In the luminaires of tomorrow it will be difficult to find a better alternative. MINISTAR will inspire new designs that could otherwise not be created.

The MINISTAR Axial Reflector leaves even the experts speechless. Not only does the integrated reflector concentrate the light but MINISTAR is also considerably smaller than other reflector lamps, so it provides the ideal basis for a new generation of small and stylish halogen luminaires. Good examples include living room lights, recessed ceiling lights and flexible lighting systems which can all now be made much smaller.

MINISTAR Side Reflector was the star of the ZOW 2004 trade fair. As the smallest reflector lamp in the world this tiny sensation made a big impression on the jury and was voted one of the TOP TEN innovations.
