ASSOCIATION FOR THE TRANSMISSION AND EVOLUTION OF THE KITCHEN

The Disciples dAuguste Escoffier were created in 1954 by Jean Ducroux, a chef from Nice and President of the Fraternelle des
Cuisiniers culinary order. Within this association he organized a contest, the Grand Prix Auguste Escoffier. But no association gourmet
exist then in the south of France, he had the idea of bringing together chefs from major hotels in the region. They developed a
"proclamation" which them served as statutes, a guide to the ceremonial enthronement., etc.

Today, we are more than 20,000 members worldwide including 2,000 in France in 20 delegations and the world, Greater China,
Hungary, USA, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Japan, Benelux, Canada , Mexico, Indian Ocean, Portugal, Thailand,
South Africa, Brazil, Argentina, Russia, Vietnam and Korea.

In Vietnam, we have today, from north to the south crossing the center, 64 members all passionated by the food and the wine of reference.
As it is the Association's spirit we believe on the evolution of the good cuisine and we strongly contribute to the transmission of the perfect
knowledge of doing good foods and being able to evaluate the best foods and beverages as standard of excellence.

The next October 25th 2013, Disciples of Escoffier Vietnam is sending three of its members to Shanghai (China) for the Disciples of
Escoffier Team Trophy. This is anAsian Region Competition where our Vietnamese Team will compete against Escoffier Teams
coming from Hong Kong, China and Macau. Our Vietnamese team is represented by 3 members coming from the high level of
hospitality and the foods and beverages business. Our members are totally cumulating over 30 years of experiences in Vietnam among the
highest international standard of the Hospitality Environment.

For supporting our team, the next 23rd of October 2013, Disciples of Escoffier Vietnam is organizing a gastronomic dinner where our
team, with the support of their Brothers from the Association in Vietnam, will introduce to the distinguished guests of the Promotion
Event the dishes that they will cook for the Team Trophy Competition in Shanghai. The Promotion Event will take place in Sofitel
Plaza Saigon at the Olivier Restaurant.

For that purpose, many companies are supporting our team and contribute for making this coming event becoming a success. We would
like to thank all the representing boards of these companies and their collaborates for their strong engagement to give our Escoffier Vietnam
Team being able to be among the Asian Region Stars of Good Cuisine.
