B eginning in the1940s, Adhesin
branded adhesives have represented a full range of water-based adhesives for various market segments and applications in the packaging industry. Adhesin adhesives include homopolymers and copolymers dispersions and natural-based products: PVAC, PVOH and starch dispersion mixture, natural rubber, acrylic water-based adhesive, cellulose ester, cellulose.
O riginally launched in 1967, these structural and semi-structural adhesives

Manganese Phosphate Conversion Coatings
These corrosion-resistant coatings consist chiefly of iron and manganese phosphates, and reduce wear on such articles as pistons, rings, liners, camshafts, tappets, motor blocks and similar bearing surfaces. Other beneficial effects are: permits rapid break-in of moving parts without scuffing or welding by preventing metal-to-metal contact between the bearing surfaces, increases lubrication of treated surfaces due to the oil-absorptive coating, and removes light metal scratches remaining from machining operations.

Iron Phosphate Conversion Coatings
These processes convert the metal surface to a non-metallic, iron phosphate coating that inhibits corrosion and increases the adhesion and durability of paint finishes. These substantial increases in the life of the paint result from the fact that the coating provides a clean grease-free/oilfree surface, corrosion-inhibiting base for paint and a non-conducting bond between the base metal and the paint.

Henkels patented Aquence autodeposition process chemistries deliver extreme corrosion protection while increasing process efficiency over traditional finishing methods. The Aquence process coats complex parts evenly and can stand alone as the finished surface or accept topcoat paint for aesthetics. The Aquence process combines metal pretreatment, coating and finishing, and provides a lasting finish both inside of parts and out. Autophoretic 7150 An acidic composition, for use in spray washing systems prior to Autophoretic paint films and for removing light rust and oxidation from iron and steel surfaces. For effective derusting, articles must be free from grease and oil before cleaning. Henkels robust hot melt adhesive technologies are suitable for bonding almost any substrate, from delicate papers to complex plastics. Our products range from polyolefins, EVAs and PSAs to one-component polyamides and reactive urethanes. They are available in a variety of package types such as tack-free pellets or pressure sensitive sheets. Henkel hot melts are easy to apply using the appropriate application equipment, from hand rollers to robotic spray guns. Macromelt Molding is a low pressure molding process with hotmelt adhesives. It can achieve superior sealing, better protection of electro / electronics components with higherproductivity compared to those materials widely used in current sealing process e.g. 2-component casting / potting resins or silicones. Treostat -8590 is a black, highly viscous,sag resistant,one-component polyurethane-based adhesive/sealant with high tensile shear strength (even aged). Treostat-MS 939 FR is an elastic, one-component adhesive/sealant based on silane-modified polymer, also passed the important fire behaviour tests in accordance with French norms NF F 16-101 and NF P 92-512. Here the product was classified F0 and M1 - an outstanding result for an MS polymer.
Macroplast UK 8222 (Terokal-722) is a solvent-free, two-component polyurethane adhesive for horizontal and inclined adhesive bonding applications. Macroplast UK 8223 (Terokal-723) is a solvent-free, two-component polyurethane adhesive for horizontal and vertical adhesive bonding applications.

Macroplast ESP 4240 This one-component, solvent-free, induction-curable, structural resin is used for hem flange bonding applications where low peel and impact forces are encountered. Has induction curable capabilities to achieve very short fixture times, can be cured in a standard oven, and applied directly to oily substrates. Terokal 2300 This one-component, heat cure, structural adhesive is 50% expandable for stiffening and joining applications and has limited fracture toughness. Can be applied directly to oily substrates. These products range from weld seam sealers to anti-flutter expandables for the control of water, air, fuel and vibration. Teroson seam sealers are available in easyto-handle cartridges, pails and drums for convenient dispensing. From expandable products to paintable, our seam sealing products are approved for use prior to or after the metal pretreatment process and are compatible with paint finishing systems.

Sealing of metal sheet overlap joints and seams both inside and outside (e.g. door frames, ventilation holes) as a protection against edge corrosion. Sealing of gaps to prevent the penetration of moisture (corrosion!) and eliminate sharp-edged transitions. Terostat-81 is a profiled, black, extremely tacky butyl sealant with firm plastic consistency. Terostat-7390 is an anthracite-coloured, sprayable, extremely tacky butyl sealant which is applied hot (approx. 100 C) and adheres even to slightly oily sheet metal. Terostat-VII is profiled, light grey-coloured medium-tacky PIB sealant of plastic consistency.

Body Shop Antiflutters Terostat 06-1272 This non-expanding, weld through sealer has enhanced shear adhesion, gas resistance and is highly wash-off resistant, which offers good corrosion resistance, high elasticity, and bond without read-through. Application can be manual or automated. Terostat 06-1242 This pumpable, high expandable, weld through, gas resistant body shop sealer designed for oily or galvanized steel offers good corrosion resistance, high elasticity, and bond without read-through. Application can be manual or automated. Terostat SA-4510 This elastomeric-based, cold-applied, pumpable adhesive is designed to expand when subjected to heat to form a soft-closed cell foam. Specialty Products Terostat 6100G This pumpable, highly expandable, weld-through, gas-resistant body shop sealer is designed for oily or galvanized steel, offering good corrosion resistance, high elasticity, and bond without read-through. A good candidate for void filling in acoustical applications. Terostat 960H This permanently plastic, solvent-free, strongly adherent, one-component sealant/ adhesive based on polyisobutylene is designed to adhere plastic trim to glass for a short time period until the plastic component is mechanically fastened. Terostat 962-US This permanently plastic, strongly adherent, one-component sealant/adhesive based on butyl rubber can be hot applied, so that it softens to a large extent, but wont melt, making it ideal for working overhead and on vertical surfaces.
