Attached nd our most recent prayer letter. Please accept my apologizes for it being delayed.

As usual, the prayer letter gives all the ministry updates, however, this cover letter is to address some medical issues that have occurred with Robin. Last spring Robin began to have some issues with joint swelling. At rst it appeared that she just had an injury to her achilles tendon due to exercising. However, slowly the pain and swelling spread to other joints in her body. She had detailed blood work done, as well as x-rays, but it all returned normal. Several doctors later, no one could pinpoint the problem. The answer at the time was to put her on steroids to combat the swelling as well as the pain. The last part of August she was hospitalized with what we thought was double pneumonia. During the rst night of her hospitalization, Robin suffered a retinal vein occlusion, she had a stroke behind her eye, and lost sight in her left eye. The following day, she suffered another stroke, and for the next 24 hours was in critical condition. She remained in ICU for 4 days. Praise the Lord, He lead us to a wonderful private clinic in Ukraine where Robin got excellent care. The Ukrainian doctors diagnosed Robin with possible Cerebral Vasculitis, and admitted to us that because the condition is so rare they were unequipped to handle it. They suggested we travel to Germany, Israel or the States to get proper treatment for her, warning us that her recovery was not going to be quick, and that we needed to plan on a year of therapy for her to get back to a normal life style. The next two and a half weeks that Robin was in the hospital were concentrated on getting her stable enough to travel. In that time our daughter Colleen ew over to help pack the house, plan out clothes and school books for a year, and return to the states. I had to arrange a preaching schedule with the men of the churches, sell the van, and prepare the house for winter. When we arrived in the States the third week in September, Robin was once again hospitalized and suffered another stroke. This time it affected her throat and voice. However, praise the Lord, there have not been no residual effects, and she has not lost the use of any limbs! Every time she has had a stroke, within 5-6 days most symptoms have disappeared. Unfortunately, she still has not recovered the sight in her left eye, and the doctors do not expect this to return. Please pray for us as we continue to sort through all of this medical information, attempting to get the best care possible for Robin. Please also pray as we try to get insurance coverage for all of this. I want to thank you for your understanding, and your continued support of our ministry. Our plan is to return to Ukraine next fall, or sooner as Robin's health improves. If you have any further questions you can contact me at 585-267-5872, or 585-614-1460.
