NWV-7 - Network Wide View SS7

The Network Wide View SS7 (NWV-7) network management system is an essential tool for telecommunications service providers, providing up-to-the minute performance, fault and configuration management information. NWV-7's cost reduction applications including fraud detection, accounting management and call tracing make the NWV-7 management system a potent tool that provides a fast return on Investment. The NWV-7 system uses non-intrusive probes to collect SS7 messages, statistical counters and call detail records (CDRs) from the entire network in real-time. The collected data enables service providers to achieve maximum network optimization, streamline complex routing procedures and reduce traffic flow congestion. The NWV-7 system empowers service providers to monitor and control all the layers of the SS7 protocol, whether in fixed, GSM, TDMA or CDMA networks. Using the NWV-7 system, service providers can assess the network quality and performance of any size SS7 network and troubleshoot traffic degradations and bottlenecks. With NWV-7, service providers can track and analyze SS7 messages and alarms, as well as diagnose alarm conditions and other exceptional network events. NWV-7 can also produce a variety of diagnostic and management reports such as trend analysis, historical events, protocol analysis and tracing. These reports enable service providers to both analyze network behavior on a network-wide basis, right down to the individual messages and CDR level. With NWV-7, service providers have complete control of their network and can guarantee that it's operating at peak performance.

The Integrated Netrac Family

Netrac Mediation Family
The Netrac Mediation products are vendor, protocol and technology independent and can connect to an extremely wide range of network elements and element managers. This connectivity supports the flow and interpretation of data from these entities to the Netrac applications, as well as the sending of commands and controls downstream from the applications to the network elements. The mediation products utilize expert systems technology and intuitive GUIs, making it easy to introduce and rapidly deploy new technologies and equipment and dramatically shorten the time-to-revenue. The Mediation family contains the following products: DvXpert; NCI; CDR Collector

Netrac Configuration and Provisioning Management (NetCAP) Family

The Configuration and Provisioning Management family maintains a full inventory of the network and provides a powerful workflow capability to manage the overall provisioning processes, complete with automated service activation. Intelligent synchronisation with the live network maintains data accuracy to support the provided service design and assign activities. The end result is fast, automated service delivery to support operators' Service Fulfillment and Service Assurance needs. The NetCAP family contains the following products: Inventory; Sync; EWO; Planning; Activate

Netrac Fault Management Family

The Fault Management family detects faults and alarms across all domains and network elements, performs automatic root-cause analysis to reduce the time and resources required to identify and solve network problems and prioritizes faults to maximize the effectiveness of network personnel, taking into account potential service/customer impact. One-click access to trouble ticketing systems enables service providers to implement the desired workflow into the problem resolution cycle. The Fault Management family contains the following products: FaM; Correlator+; NetImpact; NeTkT

CDR Analysis Family

Call Detail Records (CDRs) supply a wealth of valuable information that can be used for network monitoring, capacity planning, fraud management, billing verification and marketing-related applications. The CDR Analysis family provides operators with the tools to analyze Quality of Service in the network, monitor the services supplied to end-users in real time, detect exceptional call behavior patterns, identify new revenue opportunities and ensure that customers are billed accurately for the services they receive. The CDR Analysis family contains the following products: CallExpert; FraudDetect; Billing Verification

Netrac Performance Management Family

The Performance Management family supports real-time monitoring and long-term analysis of network behavior by collecting traffic measurements from network elements, element managers and CDRs. Using the Performance Management maps, graphs and reports, operators can detect inefficiently used equipment and troubleshoot bottlenecks and traffic degradations before they impact customers. With the Performance Management family's specialized analysis and intervention tools, operators can maximize utilization of existing resources, conduct improved performance forecasting and efficiently plan for future growth. The Performance Management family contains the following products: PMM; TrafficView; TCH; SmartTraffic

Netrac SLA Management - Service View

ServiceView allows operators to define, track and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensure that customers are benefitting from optimal network performance and availability. ServiceView proactively identifies services in danger of exceeding SLA thresholds, allowing operators to focus on potential problems and address them in time to avoid SLA penalties. In addition, using ServiceView enables service providers to see how well they have met their commitment to deliver high-level services and prove it to their customers.
