05.09.13 Teachers Day was celebrated. 20.09.13 - A special workshop for girls on beauty and skin tips was conducted by Ponds Hindustan Lever Ltd.

05.09.13 - Ms.M.Thiruchelvi., Head., Department of Mathematics & Mr.A.Saravanan., Physical Director., were awarded the Best Teacher Award for this Academic Year 2013 by the chief guests Dr.Aranga Gopal., Director SHIBI IAS Academy & Shri.C.Natarajan., Secretary & Principal of Nikita Matriculation School, Coimbatore at Akshaya Institute of Management Studies.

As per the guidance from Department of Extension & Career guidance, Bharathiar University and Project Genesis Infosys BPO Ltd, Mysore, Mrs.M.Thiruchelvi., Head, Department of Mathematics is giving training for the final year students from various department. It is planned for 60 Hrs Schedule to enrich the students ability in creativity, problem solving process, cause and effect, six tool approach, prioritization technique, Numerical ability, presentation skills and personality development. These modules help and support the students to face the interview with confidence. 20.09.13 - Awareness program on Sign Language Promotion was conducted by Rotary Club of Coimbatore Texcity with The chief guests Rtn.Gigi Eapen Cherian., President, Rotary Club of Coimbatore Texcity & Shri.Anantadev Das., Founder Member & Chairman of Universal Sanatana Dharma for the Deaf, Bangalore.

THE LOVE POEM OF ACCOUNTS
Introduction about the poem : 10 years before I read this poem, which was written by a student of Nehru College of Arts. It was really a wonderful poem which relates the accounts with our life. But one who know accounts subject only can able to understand this poem. Others it is little bit difficult to understand, because everything is compared with the accounting terms, rules etc. Anyway I am dedicating this poem to those love accounts In the journal proper of my heart, I have written a journal entry, Debiting your love and crediting my affection, Darling you write the narration.. Your first love I have always indicated on the ledger folio column, Anyway out relations are based on the double entry system, And our love is real and tangible.. You debit what comes in and I credit what goes out, Your beauty is the capital of our business, My eyes are stock-in-trade, let us enter into transaction, You secretly give me trade discount; I will openly give you cash discount, And this my partner, our trading, profit and loss account Will show super profit On the check of our cheque, I have enclosed all my wealth, Get them encashed with my bankers any time you desire to do so, The little counter of my heart will remain open for you, Even during non-banking hours, Darling you are just like contra entry, You are on my debit side and credit side both at the same time, And so my partner, let us rectify all our errors And total the trial balance, all our affairs arithmetically Without maintaining any suspense account.. In the balance sheet of our life, Our children will be assets and liabilities, If they are boys, we will call them sundry debtors, If they are girls, we will call them sundry creditors But if we have a boy and a girl, Our balance sheet will tally automatically And the auditor will certify the accounts show a true and fair view Of lovely business conducted during life..
