Objective After having served twenty three years in the military and the next subsequent three years as an employee of the US Military, I am looking to begin a career outside of government service. I would like to find and serve in a capacity where my training and schooling will make a difference to a company while fulfilling my short term goals of increased monetary gain. Experience Headquarters, USASOC(A) G-3, Current Operations, Fort Bragg, NC 28310 Assistant Theater Desk Officer Serves as the Assistant Desk Officer for the Africa and European Theater, Army Special Operations Forces (ARSOF) deployments in a specific Theater, Geographic Combatant Command (GCC) AOR and provides support to the Theater Desk as the Assistant Operations Officer. Serves in the U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) staff. Performs a variety of technical and administrative duties relative to Operations and ARSOF deployment management which require the application of the sound understanding and thorough knowledge of the ARSOF organization, missions, and directives, regulations and their integration. Serves as a member of the Force Protection Working Group and USASOC Crisis Action Team and Crisis Response Cell. Coordinates all ARSOF deployments in the USAFRICOM and USEUCOM AOR. Ensures detailed planning is accomplished and provides timely information, develops recommendations, and supervises the implementation of operational directives and guidance. Coordinates with USSOCOM, USAFRICOM, USEUCOM, SOCAFRICA, SOCEUR and all USASOC subordinate elements to formulate plans and missions. Company, 1st Battalion, 1st Special Warfare Training Group, Fort Bragg, NC 28310 Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge Performed duties as NCOIC of the Resistance Training Laboratory (RTL) and the Field Training Detachment. As RTL NCOIC was in charge of 17 soldiers, 12 GS civilians and 18 civilian contract instructors. Oversees the annual training of over 1,500 Special Operations Soldiers, Aviators and Marines in the Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) High Risk Level C course. Supervised the training of instructor, ensured the qualification, safety and standard of instruction is maintained. Managed personnel administration, maintenance, logistics, equipment and facilities worth $2,000,000 million dollars. As the Field Training NCOIC was in charge of 12 soldiers, 6 GS civilians and 2 contract civilian instructors; trains over 2,000 Special Operations soldiers annually in Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) High Risk Level C course. Supervised the training of instructors, ensured that safety and quality of instruction are maintained. Managed all aspects of detachment administration, maintenance, logistics, and equipment and facilities worth over $250,000 dollars. For both positions was a major contributor in SERE course expansion for all of the Special Operations. Appointed duties of Unit collateral duty safety officer, Operations security officer; Key control NCO; Unit mail handler, and Contracting Officer Representative. C Company, 1st Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group (A), Torii Station, Okinawa, Japan. Special Forces Senior Communications Sergeant. Serves as a member of a forward deployed Special Forces Detachment Alpha (SFODA) which is part of the Pacific Theater Commanders In-Extremis Force (CIF). Functions as a primary sniper of a Sniper/Observer team that can deploy without prior notice, worldwide. Advises the Detachment Commander on all aspects of communication during mission planning and execution. Maintains proficiency in training management, Noncombatant Evacuation Operations (NEO) and Direct Action (DA).Is a participant in the theater Peacetime Engagement Strategy; Operates , maintains, and accounts for specialized communications equipment valued at over $2,000,000.
