Abstract : The net work structure of public transportation in Banjarmasin formed because all of the routes which are connecting sub-urban district pointed from one district to DBD so that the passenger which have different direction must transfer the transportation. In handling this problem, this study is planned a main route as the corridor which aim connecting east-north and east-west. The purpose of this research is to analyze the passenger movement in the O-D Matrix and to analyze O-D Matrix in 2006 by using Detroit Method. To analyze Trip assignment is used JICA STARA program. This is based to analyze the public transportation requirement in Banjarmasin 2006. From this research is resulted the city transportation requirement which is serving the main route about 62 company to serve the passengers needed such as: for KM 6 to (Trisakti, Rawa Sari and Suaka Insan) return to KM 6 is 44 vehicles in headway 70.588 second and Km 6 to (Handil Bakti, Perumnas & Pertamina) return to KM 6 is 18 Vehicles is hoped will decrease the transportation transfer, beside that, with the route divided will decrease the long queue and the route troop which is causing the traffic jam. Keywords: passenger movement model, route chosen, public transport.

1. INTRODUCTION The public transportation in Banjarmasin as pat of the city transportation system is one of the main requirement of the city people in general. The existence of the city transportation is very important, but if it does not handling correctly, it will raise such problems for the people in this city. The city transportation such as mikrolet/taksi kuning are the city transportation which mostly used by the Banjarese. Mostly, the people have the problem of the transportation transfer, in doing the journey from one district to the other district. This thing, make the people dislike to use the city transportation because of the travel time become loner, beside that the amount of company are not suitable with the passengers needed will raise the various problems such as long queue of the city transportation in terminal, and the troop of the route in the same road. So that it raises the traffic jam in Banjarmasin. One way to solve the problem is the analysing pf passenger capacity which is using the public transportation and the ideal of Amount Company. As the beginning step which is needed is the passengers capacity which is using the city transportation and origin district of the passenger direction and the zone distance. According to the situation in the field is very complex, so that to take close feature about the real situation, we need a model. It is called model Trip Distribution. It is using the model trip Distribution method and to analyze the best route chosen is used JICA STARA program. This can be based to acquire the needed of Banjarmasin public transportation in the future. Based on those back ground, nowadays, there is not a study which is discussing about the city public transportation in Banjarmasin to serve the main route especially North-east and west-east, so that, the writer interested to do a research in the paper Analysis of Public Transport Needed In Main Route of Banjarmasin.

2.1 Variable Identification The variables which are used in this research are: 1. The loading passenger volume and the location of the passenger origin district . 2. The amount of people. 3. The city transportation headway. 4. Zone distance. 2.2 Data Collection The data is collecting in the field such as: 1. Pilot survey : is the secondary data collecting and supporting g such as amount of people, the distance on each zone. 2. Primer data survey is collecting the volume of passenger data and origin location and passenger direction, and the vehicle headway data in 10 routes. 2.3 Data Procession

The data which is collecting from the survey in the field is categorized according the zone which is stated. Those data is tested by median. The accurately which is wanted minimal 80%. 3. THE ANALYSIS AND THE RESULT OF DATA 3.1 Zone Portion The Zone portion is based to the movement pulling such as market, education centre, office and entertainment places which are passing public transport in 10 route. 3.2 Origin Destination Data of Passenger The Origin Destination Data of Passenger direction is taken by doing the interview with the passenger in 10 terminal. Then, their data which is already taken is tested the average of sample s before it made became the direction origin matrix. To analyze O-D Matrix on 2006 is used the Detroit Method (is enclosed).

3.3 Average Test The average is the average counting for quantitative data which is included in a sample which is counted by divided the amount of data result with data. The average for sample is symbolized with X to get the average of sample which significant. So it needs statistics test by seeing the sample accurately level is formulated such as;

3.4 The Analysing of Amount The Public Transport Based on the assignment trip, the public transportation passenger in Banjarmasin in 2006 as the biggest route is the route zone 13 (Km 6 Simp. Gatot Muka). Then, The zone survey to the west Banjarmasin is zone 5 (Pasar Pasirmas Simp. Tower),zone 8 (Trisakti Simp. Airmantan) and zone 12 (Rawa Sari STIENAS) is collected in Zone A. Meanwhile the zone of origin survey for north area in Banjarmasin is Zone 1 (Handil Bhakti Bundaran Kayu Tangi), Zone 7 (Pertamina Simp. AKABA) and Zone 10 (Perumnas Simp. Pasar Lama) is classified in the Zone B. And special Trip Assignment for corridor/main route is Zone A (West Area) to zone 13 (east area) in backside. It is also happened in the zone B (north area to zone 13 (east area and in the backside in this following diagram:

Pmax =2573.8 passengers/day (from zone 13 to zone 14 to zone 17). And Pmax from each route is based to analyze amount the company needed/public transportation, as the following:

Q=

Pmax Pizin

.. (2)

Where ; Q = the amount of vehicles in one of the specific time (Passenger/hour). P max = the analyzing of passenger capacity (passenger/hour). P izin = passenger capacity in a vehicle per trip which is licensed (based on Dinas DLLAJR Kodya is about 11 passenger per vehicle per trip).

Headway ( ht ) =

60 Q

.. (3)

In which headway in one minute. So, the amount of public transport is;

n=

(travel time + loading passenger time) minute .. (4) ht

Where The loading passenger time = the time of loading and unloading passenger in terminal = 2*0,5 minute (minimum 30 second ht terminal). = 1 minute The result on the headway calculating and amount of the public transportation in Banjarmasin in 2006 input in the form of the following table: Table 3. 4. CONCLUSION From daily O-D Matrix in 2001 is can be seen that: 1. 2. The biggest passenger movement is 1385 person/day from zone 13 (Km 6 Simp Gatot Muka) to zone 14 (Simp.Gatot Muka Simp 3.P.Antasari) and also the backside. The lowest passenger movement is about 79 person /day from zone 2 (Bundaran Kayu Tangi Simp. AKABA) to zone 12 (Rawasari STIENAS) and Zone 10 (Perumnas Simp. Pasar lama) to zone 12 (Rawasari STIENAS) and also the backside.

From daily O-D Matrix in 2006 is can be seen that: 1. 2. The biggest passenger movement is 1926 person/day from zone 13 (Km 6 Simp. Gatot muka) to zone 14 (Simp. Gatot Muka Simp. P .Antasari) And also the backside. The lowest passenger movement is about 80 erson/day from zone 7 (Pertamina Simp.AKABA to zone 13 (Km.6 Simp. Gatot Muka) and also the backside.

The comparison O-D Matrix in 2001 with 2006 is: The increasing of the biggest passenger movement is 541 person/day from zone 13 (Km 6 Simp. Gatot Muka) to zone 14 (Simp.Gatot Muka Simp. 3 P. Antasari) and also the backside. The increasing of the lowest passenger movement is 1 person/day from zone 1 (Handil Bhakti Bundaran Kayu Tangi) to zone 112 (Rawasari STIENAS) and also the backside. The decreasing of the biggest passenger movement is 126 person/day from zone 1 (Handil Bhakti Bundaran Kayu Tangi) to zone 13 (KM 6 Simp. Gatot Muka) and also the backside. The decreasing of the lowest passenger movement is 3 person/day in zone 8 (Trisakti Simp. Airmantan) to zone 10 (Perumnas Simp. Pasar lama) and also the backside.
