INTRODUCTION:
The M88-series Medium Recovery Vehicle is the backbone of vehicle recovery in the Army inventory.There is no better way to understand how a vehicle works than through PMCS.

ACTION: Perform a PMCS of the M88-series Medium Recovery Vehicle. Condition: In a shop environment with assistance given an M88-series
Medium Recovery Vehicle, Maintenance Inspection Worksheet and TM 9-2350-256. Standard: IAW appropriate reference without causing damage to the equipment or injury to personnel.

Safety Requirements:
Read all warning and caution statements. Wear hard hats at all times on the shop floor. Remove all watches, rings, ID Tags and jewelry. No horse playing on the shop floor. Do not disconnect / connect electrical connections with the Master Switch on. Ensure Chock Blocks are used, (front and rear), during practical exercise. Wear Safety Goggles when working in battery compartment. Material Safety Data Sheets, (MSDS), are located at the front entrance to the building. Wear Hearing Protection while vehicle is in operation. Never take vehicle out of park. Never place objects in the turbo-superchargers or fan assemblies. B02 4
