Being European Teacher

A very long time, man gave an almost insignificant importance to education because education represented for him just accumulation of information. But this thing has changed when man met the word ,society and he was under the necessity of integrating in the society. As the society in which he lived was modernizing he was under the necessity to create himself favourable conditions of living. Thereby education came on the first place among men s responsibilities. Beyond being human, man should belong to a society and to survive in it. European man is part of European society in which equality, correctness and love for your close ones are the basic principles which make this society an harmonious society. Like the society is the education. The European teacher, because he represents the reliance point of man, he must develop mans interest in the European values. To fulfill this task, he must do lesson projects that should highlight the similarity between the values that Europeans promote and those that Romania promote. This similarity represents the starting point of the career of the European teacher. The main aim of the teacher is to create in the conscience of man the idea of unity and equality that would make him respect and love his country. The need of knowledge and discover must be fed by the teacher for the student to mentain his attention on the things that are important for him. The real ideal of the education is the free and harmoniuos development of human individuality which would help him in forming his own personality. Because of the development of all technological areas, the European society was under the need of developing itself to cope the new needs and keep step with other societies. The computer has gained its important place in all domains and so in the educational domain. The facility in using it and the help that the computer gives made it almost

indispensable for human. For realising the lesson projects, the teacher can use the computer to stimulate visual memorising or for doing interactive games with the pupils. Even though the lack of necessary funds for the pupils to use the computer in every classroom in our country blocks the teacher to help pupils in the process of exploring the world that is specific to their age, the teacher succeeds to make interactive courses and to maintain pupils attention. With regard to the impact that the use of the computer has on the pupils, the teachers consider that this thing is a possitive one because rises the concentration and interest of the student in learning. This thing is important for the society because the student is the root of the society and the armonious growth of the student is the future of the society. The more the student knnows more things about the fact that the society in which he lives is a society in a continuous growth, the more he woul try to cope with the requests of the society and would find the easiest ways to live in an European society. The teachers duty is not an easy one, but he is not alone, he is helped by different programs like: Lisbon Strategy, The Bologna Process and The Copenhaga Process. The most aquainted of them, Lisbon Agend, lays stress on the transformation of the European economy into an economy based on knowledge, meaning on education. The first step to this thing was the educational reform which helped the creation of an European space favourable not only for teachers, but also for students. Creating this superior education European space, the teachers were given help in realizing their educational aims and the students were prepared for their future jobs. These programs come in the help of both parts in the same measure: help in the same time the pupils and students and also the teachers.

As a conclusion, we can say that it is not easy to be an European teacher, but it is a very important job in the armonious development of our society.
