Project Title:“Satellite Image Compression Using Ridgelet Transform”.

Software used: MATLAB 7.0 version. ERDAS IMAGINE 8.5 version.

Description: In the field of remote sensing, image compression is the required technique
for handling the increased complexities and huge volumes of data in the current imaging
systems. The aim of this thesis is to introduce an effective image coding technique which
involves transformation of image into another domain with Ridgelet function followed by
quantization for the coefficients with SPIHT
 It is a Individual Project and 6 months duration
B.TECH
Project Title: “College Information System”.
Language : PHP
Platform : Linux 7.x.

Description: The College Information System is to be used with different

concerns by staff, Administration, and student. The Administration uses the system to
define, monitor, and honor commitment. It helps them plan, manage, and track the details of
students and staff. The staff uses it to honor commitments made to student and improve their
performance based on their personal history. The system helps the students to avoid pitfalls
and provides a context for communication
Team Size : 4 members and 6 months duration

Mini Project:
Title : “Simultaneous Ac-Dc Transmission Through Same Transmission Line”.
This is mini project on verifying the possibilities ac power and dc power
through same transmission line. The ac-current is normally conducting through the
transmission line and one third of dc-current is conducted through each line.

Professional Experience :

• Project Trainee (from Nov 2005 – May 2006) for B.Tech thesis in Jawahar
Knowledge Center (JKC), QISCET at Ongole, (A.P).
• Project Trainee (from Jan 2009 – june 2009) for M.Tech thesis in National Remote
Sensing Centre (NRSC), ISRO,Balanagar,Hyderabad.

Presentations:

• Presented a paper titled “Satellite Image Compression Using Ridgelet Transform” in

Geomatics-2009 National Level conference on Geomatics and Impact of Climate
Change with Specific Reference to Mountain Ecosystem at Dehradun.

• Presented a paper titled “Simultaneous AC-DC Transmission Through Same

Transmission Line” in National Level Symposium “Electroquest 06”
