I strongly agree to the above cited issue as a U niversity should be whoolesome in the development of its disciples not onl in th ere very acdemic scope but also in their over-all or allround growth as this con temprary world not only demandes a sound technical backgroud but also looks for the extra-curricular's .Moreover inculcation of all round qualities is whole n s ole responsibilities of universities. A university containing diverse backroud and a wide variety of courses not only provides a student with broad spectrum of choices,but also gives him oppourtunit ies to look for not only building his domain expertise but also some assests whi ch also adds to his curricular add-ons. This is also advantageous in one way tha t if a certain student opts for a course or for example lets take example of an engineering college;as this college provides first year study inmany streams ,st udents get familiar with there disciplines of study and they also get familiar w ith the other disciplines so if certain student feels when he becomes a sophomor e that this streaam is not his forte he has option to switch,which allows a stud ent to develop skills he like. Today in this competant world a person needs to acquire best of both soft skills and the hard skills,to eloborate it basically soft skills and domain expeertise .Today universities all across the world not only provide oppoutinities for deve lopment of a student in his narrow dicipline but there are proviso's for develop ing soft skills that is learning the proper conduct,manners,how to make oneself presentable and acquiring the personel development skills. Additionally almost all universites provides student oppoutunities to develop th ier feilds of intrest apart from curriculum intrests ,those are hobbies and spor ts .These often provide an individual neecessary leisure time and are beneficial to keep one self motivated,happy and also develop abstract qualities in an indi vidual as sportsmanship,sports ethics,sense of competiton,sense of togetherness, right conduct also helps student to remain fit by taking out some time in there tedious schedules to envigor and infuriate them.
