Cheri has worked in health care for twenty-seven years and joined MIHS in 2003. Cheri serves on the Cover Arizona Coalition as a member of the Steering Committee and Co-Chair of the Central Coalition. Cover Arizona is a group of organizations that have joined to maximize enrollment of individuals and families in the new Health Insurance Marketplace and the restoration of Medicaid and identify and assess outreach efforts to build on successes.

Elizabeth Banta, Executive Director, Duet Partners In Health & Aging


www.duetaz.org Elizabeth Banta has served as Executive Director of Duet for eighteen years. She received a Masters Degree in Counseling and Certificate in Gerontology from Arizona State University. Prior to serving with Duet, she assisted elders through the Senior Adult for Independent Living program and the Arizona Long Term Care System. Providing compassionate help to older adults and family caregivers drives Elizabeths career vision.

Martha Seaman, Juris Doctor


The Reverend Martha L. Seaman has served 34 years in state and local government. She is a Citizen advocate for age friendly communities. Martha is a Member, Village to Village Network , Deacon of the Episcopal Diocese of Arizona, Leader-Organizer and currently President of the Board, Valley Interfaith Project in Phoenix, and a Volunteer with Duet, a non-profit that strives to improve the quality of life for older adults across the Valley.

Judith Fritsch, State Executive Director, Open Table


http://theopentable.org After 23 years of service to DES, Judith began a new role as the Open Table Volunteer State Executive Director for Arizona. Judith now leads and oversees all operations of Open Table in Arizona and provides guidance in the development of faith-government relationships throughout Open Table areas. She also serves as a member of the Arizona Serves Task Force established by Governor Janice K. Brewer. Judith is committed to increasing the capacity of Arizona communities and engaging in Faith-Based partnerships which bring Church, Government and Community together to address the issues of poverty faced by so many individuals and families all across Arizona, helping them reach their greatest potential.

Jill is a licensed professional counselor who has focused on working with Survivors of Suicide since 2003. She appreciates the uniqueness and social stigma associated with this grief. Her goal is to provide a safe space for those struggling with this loss, and to help provide hope for those feeling confused, helpless and alone. She has been a speaker at the American Association of Suicidology and the Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention national conferences. Last month, Jill spoke at the International Association for Suicide Prevention conference in Oslo, Norway.

www.211Arizona.org Over the years, Catherine has been responsible for overseeing a wide variety of human service, housing, HMIS and 2-1-1 programs, as well as serving as a Legislative Aide and in a variety of human services and nonprofit advocacy roles. Catherine currently serves on the national 211 US Steering Committee, the 211 US Public Policy Committee, the national 2-1-1 State Directors Council, the national Alliance of Information and Referral Systems (AIRS) Board of Directors, the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits Leadership Council, the Phoenix Organization for Nonprofit Executives (ONE), and is a member of the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) Continuum of Care Committee.
