Introduction The brain is an important part of your body, the brain is the boss of the body. It is a thinking part of the body.

Cerebrum The cerebrum is the thinking part of the brain. Cerebrum controls thought, voluntary movement, language, reasoning and perception. When we divided the cerebrum in halves its called hemispheres. The cerebrum also controls feelings like sad, happy, excited, scared and lots more. The cerebrum is the biggest part of the brain, its about 85% of the brains weight. If we dont have a cerebrum we cant think or we dont have any feeling.

Cerebellum Cerebellum is at the back of the brain. Cerebellum controls balance, movement and coordination (how your muscles work together). If the cerebellum is not fully developed, you will typically have levels of distractibility and difficulty with learning. The cerebellum sits next to the brain. If humans dont have a cerebellum they cant balance to use their muscles.

Brain Stem The brain stem sits below the cerebrum and sits next to the cerebellum. The brain stem controls breathing, heart rate, blood pressure. The brain stem also controls your involuntary muscles. The brain stem sends messages to your body so your body can move around and stay alive. If we dont have a brain stem we cant breathe, our heart cant rate or your blood pressure cant pump, you cant move a round, you will dead.

Pituitary Gland The pituitary gland is small like a pea. The pituitary gland controls the amount of sugars and water in your body to help you grows. Pituitary gland helps you grow up. Metabolism is every that goes in your body to keep you grows. The pituitary gland releases hormones that make you grow. If you dont have a pituitary gland you cant grow and your body will stay small like a baby.

Hypothalamus The hypothalamus sits above the pituitary gland. It controls your body temperature like if you hot, you will sweat, if you are cold you will shiver. Hypothalamuses do your body temperature, emotions, hunger, thirst and circadian Rhythms. If you dont have a hypothalamus you will not be able to sweat or shiver.

Interesting Fact If you want to keep your brain healthy you need to exercise and drink lots of water. You need to read lots of books to get you smarter. Dont play lots of computer games or watching TV so much your brain will in trouble or one parts of your brain will not work you will not able to do anything. Your brain will get small if you play lots of computer game or watching TV. You need to keep your brain healthy if you keep it healthy you will get smart and healthy.

Conclusion The brain is an important part of your body. Keep your brain healthy and smart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Voluntary movement: voluntary movement is that of an object that moves itself by its own will, not automatically or habit. Perception: is the process of understanding, thinking and representation of humans Hemispheres: is a half of a brain Cerebellum: cerebellum is at the back of the brain, below the cerebrum. Its smaller than the cerebrum but its a very important part of the brain. It controls balance, movement and coordination Coordination: coordination means working together for a goal

Developed: grow or improve Typically: typically outstanding means specific or

Distractibility: distractibility means losing ones reason, mind and sense Brain stem: brain stem sits beneath the cerebrum and in front of the cerebellum. It controls breathing, heart rate, blood pressure and involuntary muscles Involuntary: involuntary means automatically and habit Pituitary gland: pituitary gland is a small part of the brain like a pea. The pituitary gland controls the amount of sugars and water in your body to help you grows. Metabolism: metabolism means chemical transformations that help our body grow

Release hormones: release hormones means manufacturing hormones Hypothalamus: hypothalamus sits above the pituitary gland, its also small. It controls your body temperature. Circadian Rhythm: circadian rhythm is any biological process that displays an endogenous, entrain oscillation of about 24 hours.
