Although the past can never be indicative of the future, we are necessarily very pleased with our
investment performance thus far this year, indicated Stéphane Solis, Geiser’s principal Managing
Director. After dropping like a rock from mid-2008 up until early March of this year, it is true that
the Small-Cap market has been one of the stronger performers since then, but we have
nevertheless beaten our benchmark by a substantial margin. I think this highlight our
understanding of markets dynamics and highly disciplined selection process, further indicated
Stephane Solis.

The performance of the Geiser Top 20 can be followed weekly by reading The Small-Cap Beat, a
weekly publication published each Monday by Geiser Capital Corporation. The Small-Cap Beat
offers a looking forward view on markets events and their driving forces, all with a focus on small-
cap stocks. The Small-Cap Beat can be obtained by registering at info@geisercorp.com.

The Geiser Top 20 is a rolling weighted index; that is, stocks are added when their expected
returns are above the expected returns of stocks in the selection and, inversely, stocks are
deleted when their expected returns are lower than what is expected from other opportunities.
Although not always the case, the Geiser Top 20 is made to be indicative of stocks selection in
specialised institutional accounts managed by Geiser. Due to timing, weighting, diversification
requirements or other considerations, returns obtained by the Geiser Top 20 may differ from
accounts managed, and differences may substantial.
