Updates for the Mathematics Series for Engineering Workbooks The following schedule of activities is true to all the

proposed workbooks: Activities Planning, Organizing, Scheduling of Loads (include consideration of courses, dividing topics to intended authors, and setting format for the workbook) Creation of Template for the Workbook Setting the number of hours for each topic based on priority topics Drafting of the Workbook Passing of the Initial Output for Editing Critique of the Output Workbook Revision of the Output based on Comments, Remarks of Experts Editing of the Revised Workbook for face validity Pilot Testing of the Workbook Final Editing of the Revised Workbook Please observe the following schedules so that we will be having a smooth sailing for this endeavor. The second week is colored pink because the midterm exam is usually scheduled during that week. Also, the last week is when the Palaro takes place. 3 hours per week for 3 weeks = 9 hours for a 3-unit course or 4 hours per week for 3 weeks = 12 hours for a 4-unit course.

The first week is colored pink because the foundation week is normally scheduled during that week. 3 hours per week for 3 weeks = 9 hours for a 3-unit course or 4 hours per week for 3 weeks = 12 hours for a 4-unit course

reserved for vacation. 3 hours per week for 2 weeks = 6 hours for a 3-unit course or 4 hours per week for 2 weeks = 8 hours for a 4-unit course.

Thus, there are 15 feasible weeks to meet the students to have lectures as well as discussions. Other pink colored weeks can still be used depending on the availability of the students, rooms, and time.
