Section 3 : Hazardous Identification: Xn : Harmful R10: Flammable R20/21:Harmful by inhalation and in contact with skin. R38: Irritating to skin. R52.53: Harmful to aquatic organism, may cause long term adverse effects.

Section 4 : First Aid and Measures: General: In all cases of doubt, or when symptoms persist, seek medical attention. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Inhalation: Remove from exposure area fresh air immediately, Keep person warm and at rest. If breathing is irregular perform artificial respiration. If unconscious place in the recovery position and obtain immediate medical attention. Give nothing by mouth Treat symptomatically and supportively. Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing and shoe immediately. Wash with soap or mild detergent and large amounts of water until no evidence of chemical remains, recognized skin cleanser may be used for cleaning large area. Apply skin cream. Small splash can be cleaned off with cleaning emulsion or cooking oil. Eye contact: Wash eyes immediately with large amounts of water by lifting upper and lower lids, until no evidence of chemical remains. Get medical attention immediately. Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. If vomiting occurs, keep head lower than hips to help prevent aspiration. Get medical attention immediately

Section 5: Fire Fighting Measures Extinguishing media: Dry chemical powder, Foam or Carbon dioxide (1993 Emergency Response guidebook, RSPA P 5800.6) Unsuitable extinguishing media: Water jet since water may cause the fire of a combustible material to spread. Do not allow run off water and contaminants from fire fighting to enter drains or water courses. Hazardous combustion products: Thermal decomposition products may include toxic product of carbon and nitrogen. Decomposition products may be hazardous to health. Avoid exposure and use breathing apparatus as appropriate. Section 6 : Accidental release measures Personal precautions : Smoking, work causing sparks, welding or similar work near the area must be ceased immediately. Ventilate the area and avoid breathing solvent vapours. Envionmental Precautions: Do not allow the product to enter drains or water courses or soil. Method of cleaning up: Collect as much as possible in a clean container for (preferable reuse or disposal. Absorb the remainder with absorbing media like Vermiculite, saw dust

Section 7 : Handling and Storage Handling: The usual precautions for handling chemicals should be observed. Areas of storage, preparation and application should be ventilated to prevent the creation of flammable or explosive concentrations of vapor in air and avoid vapor concentrations higher than the occupational exposure limits. Handle containers carefully to prevent damage and spillage Observe all federal, state and local regulations while storing this substance. Store away from incompatible substance and source of ignition or fire. Never use pressure to empty a container; containers are not pressure vessels. The product may charge electrostatically. Always use earthing leads when pouring solvents and transferring product. Operators should wear clothing, which does not generate static (at least 60% natural fiber) and antistatic footwear; floors should be of conducting type. Storage requirements: Store in a dry, well-ventilated and cool place. Keep the container upright and tightly closed and away from source of ignition, naked flames and foodstuff. Opened container should be resealed properly and stored properly. Smoking, eating and drinking should be prohibited in all preparation and application areas . Section 8: Exposure controls, personal protection Engineering Measures Provide adequate ventilation. Where reasonably practicable this should be achieved by the use of local exhaust ventilation and good general extraction. If these are not sufficient to maintain concentrations of particulates and any vapor below occupational exposure limits suitable respiratory protection must be worn. OEL Value:

(Sk) There is a risk of absorption through unbroken skin

Exposure controls: Occupational exposure controls: The workers must be instructed thoroughly. Provide adequate ventilation. If the general extraction is insufficient, efficient local exhaust must be provided. Work is whenever possible to be done in a spray booth or similar. Respiratory protection: If working areas have insufficient ventilation, wear half or totally covering mask equipped with gas filter of type A(brown), when grinding with particle filter of type P2. When spraying wear a combined filter Ap. In continuous and prolonged work isolating protection(e.g hood with supply of fresh or compressed air) or motor driven fan protection is recommended. Hand protection: Employee must wear appropriate protective gloves to prevent contact with this substance. Preferably use nitrile or butyl rubber gloves or 4H, if the product comes into contact with skin, change the gloves immediately when the first sign of decomposition appear. Always contact supplier of gloves for information on the breakthrough time and for recommendation of best quality of gloves. Eye protection: Eyes must be protected when using spray application. Use appropriate spectacles Skin protection: When using spray application suitable protective clothing should be used. Engineering controls: The usual precautionary measures for handling chemicals should be observed. Good ventilation should be sufficient. Section 9 : Physical and chemical properties Physical state, color, Color Autoignition temperature Flash Point Solubility in Water Weight per liter Vapor Density Lower Explosive Limit % VOC Theoretical Odour Liquid, coloured Black 225C Approx 25C closed cup method Immiscible 1. 1.1 Heavier than air 0.8 650 g/l as per ASTM D 3960 Odour of solvent

Section 10: Stability and reactivity Stable under recommended storage and handling conditions. When exposed to high temperatures may produce hazardous decomposition products such as carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, oxides of nitrogen and smoke. Keep away from oxidising agents, strongly alkaline and strongly acid materials in order to avoid possible exothermic reactions.

Section 11: Toxicological information There are no data available on the product itself. Exposure to solvent vapor concentrations from the component solvents in excess of the stated occupational exposure limits may result in adverse health effects such as mucous membrane and respiratory system irritation and adverse effects on the kidneys, liver and central nervous system. Symptoms include headache, nausea, dizziness, fatigue, muscular weakness, drowsiness and in extreme cases, loss of consciousness. Repeated or prolonged contact with the preparation may cause removal of natural fat from the skin resulting in dryness, irritation and possible non-allergic contact dermatitis. Solvents may also be absorbed through the skin. Splashes of liquid in the eyes may cause irritation and soreness with possible reversible damage. Section 12: Ecological Information Ecotoxicity Environmental impact rating (0-4) Other information There is no information available on Ecotoxicity of the product as such. There is no information available on Ecotoxicity of the product as such. Paint products must be handled carefully and they may not be allowed to enter drains, watercourse or soil.

Section 13: Disposal considerations Disposal The waste is collected and disposed of in accordance with local regulations. Liquid waste must be transported to facilities for collecting hazardous waste or to other similar place to be disposed of as hazardous waste. Solvent free hardened paint and painting waste can usually be taken to a public dumping area. Empty, dry paint containers can usually be taken to public dumping areas or to collection centers for metallic paint packages. Metal containers that are taken to recycling must be brush/empty, which means that they must not contain any wet paint.
