Have you really thought through what you believe? A recent survey for the Theos think tank asked people in the UK what they believed about God and issues of life after death. There was a very confused picture that arose out of it even though 59% of people claimed to be part of a religious group. This series is going back to look at one of the most ancient declarations of the Christian faith, the Nicene Creed. We will be looking at how Christians came to believe what they did and how this makes a huge difference in our lives and the life of our society.

Come join the Christmas Gospel Choir


Would you like to be singing along with friends this Christmas? Come and join the festive fun that is the Carol Service Gospel Choir. An exciting twist this year: we'll be singing carols and gospel songs as part of Springfield Church's 2013 Christmas Experience on 22nd December. Please contact Donna if youre interested in singing. The family and friends of Doris Claridge following her death on the 19th as they prepare for her funeral on the 5th November Pray for Rosanna Connolly as they prepare for her 2nd transplant. Pray that it will be successful this time. All the preparations for the Family Light party, and all people who come along

A Springfield Christmas
Our Christmas Event this year is on the late afternoon of December 22nd. It will include congregational carols and gospel choir. This creative dramatic presentation is designed to expand your imagination and enliven your festive senses! Speak to Nick White about a part in the drama

Family Disco
The Co-op cell are running a family disco in aid of the Royal Marsden Children & Teenagers unit. Its on 23rd November from 7pm at Holmwood Hall. Cell members have full details and invites for your friends and neighbours

Funeral
The funeral for our much loved member, Doris Claridge, will be held on November 5th, 11.15am at Croydon Crematorium. Everyone is welcome to join us in our farewell to her.
