EXAMINATION SHOULD BE ABOLISHMENT OR EXAM-ORIENTED? Malaysia Education system had turned from an integrated curriculum to a standard curriculum.

This changes give a significant impact on today`s education especially from examination side. Before this, education system is based on examination. According to a research, most of the students are under pressure when the examination in just around the corner. As a result, they just perform in examination and national philosophy of education is just a waste. Nowadays, with standard curriculum, the examination had been abolished. Student will be more educated and have a peace to study without to focus on examination. So, the abolishment of examination gives more benefits to student and teachers. First of all, examination abolishment can makes teachers and students focus on important things. It is to ensure that they have more time to focus on co-curriculum activities. Nowadays, to the further studies in higher education, students should be excellent in co-curriculum activities which are ten percent to the score. If they do not achieve the score, they could not further to tertiary education. Besides, teachers have more times to teach students effectively. It also can improve teacher`s creativity on teaching and have enough time to finish the syllabus. It shows that the abolishment can make students and teachers are more balance on both curriculum and co-curriculum. In addition, examination abolishment is to strengthen the education system. Before this, the systems is too force on examination and fail to provide a holistic education. Student just study to pass in examination without understanding the purpose of the study. It makes the community think negatively to our education system and give the impact to nation. Study is not solely for the examination but it is the purpose of learning for the daily life. Like a wise man says Youth are the pillars of our country. They are the generation which is will be the leader for the future. So, they should be ready with mentally and physically especially in education. Education system is a platform to produce a good leader from the youth. Those who are disagree with examination abolishment give more benefit for students and teachers. They claimed that examination make students success with

flying colour in any subjects. Students will study hard to be the best among the rest. It is like a self-test for level. But for feeble-minded students, it is difficult for them and worried about the penalty will be given. It can cause them have not the enthusiastic to study because of the pressure. So abolishment examination can helps them to perform better than before. Thus, this shows that examination abolishment give more beneficial than exam oriented. In a conclusion, examination abolishment gives more beneficial to students and teachers. Abolishment can make students and teachers focus on important thing such as co-curriculum activities. Abolishment also to strengthen Malaysia education system for provides the holistic education. If examinations go on, students can get more pressure because they should sacrifice their sleep and rest. With abolishment, it can help them to be more focus and teacher can make fun based on the creativity for their teaching. So that, examination should be abolish.
