Project Description:

In the following project, you will modify a workbook that tracks donations at community blood drives by inserting and formatting sparklines, a 3-D column chart, and a SmartArt graphic. You will also create a template used to request reimbursement for miscellaneous expenses.
Instructions: For the purpose of grading the project you are required to perform the following tasks:

Start Excel. Download, save, and open the Excel workbook named GO_e06_Grader_IR.xlsx.

On the Community Drives worksheet, in cell E3, insert a column Sparkline using the values in the range B3:D3.

Format the Sparkline to show the high point. Apply the Sparkline Style Dark #6. Copy the Sparkline down through cell E6.

Create a 3-D Clustered Column chart using the range A2:D6. Move the chart to a new sheet with the name Donor Chart.

Apply Style 26 to the chart. Switch the rows and columns in the chart.

Add the title Donations above the chart.

Add the rotated axis title Number of Donors to the vertical axis of the chart.

On the Community Drives worksheet, change the value in cell D4 to 235.

Instructions On the Donor Chart sheet, format the back wall and side wall of the chart with a Blue, Accent 1, Lighter 80% solid fill. Format the floor of the chart with a Purple, Accent 4, Lighter 80% solid fill. On the Donation Process worksheet, insert a SmartArt graphic using the Continuous Block Process style. Position the SmartArt so that the upper left corner of the graphic aligns with the upper left corner of cell B3.

In the SmartArt, type Health Interview in the first text box. Type Check Vital Signs in the second text box, and Donate in the third text box. Add a new shape to the SmartArt after the Donate shape. Add the text Rest 15 Minutes to the new shape. Apply the Polished SmartArt style to the graphic. Change the colors to Colorful - Accent Colors. Save the workbook as a template with the name GO_e06_Grader_IR_template.xltx. Then, on the Misc Expenses worksheet, in cell C17 enter a formula that will add the contents of the range C10:C16. Apply the Total cell style to cell C17. On the Misc Expenses worksheet, insert the downloaded e06_Picture.wmf file. Position the picture so that the upper left corner of the picture aligns with the upper left corner of cell C1. Apply the Circle Bevel picture effect to the picture on the Misc Expenses worksheet. Insert the WordArt Style Fill Red, Accent 2, Warm Matte Bevel with the text Community Blood Services. Change the font size of the WordArt text to 32. Position the WordArt so that the upper left corner of the WordArt aligns with the upper left corner of cell A1. Remove the Locked formatting from the range A10:B16. Protect the worksheet using the default selections and no password. Save the template as an Excel workbook with the same file name, GO_e06_Grader_IR_template.xlsx. Ensure the worksheets are in this order: Donor Chart, Community Drives, Donation Process, Misc Expenses. Close the workbook. Exit Excel. Submit the workbook as directed. Total Points
